Thanks for the review. I was literally just about to buy one of these masks and this definetly put me at ease knowing it should be a good buy.

I just bought two of them Honeywell Makes these mask I believe Sperian have three different versions of it and two color difference , black and yellow.They are also adaptable for 40mm filter hose. If you are going to use the mask against coronavirus in the close quarters it is a good choice also remember how to put the mask on without contaminating inside the mask with your hands and be able to take it off correctly without contaminating inside the mask. Also you can get different type of 40 mm filters.

I'm from spain and I got one as a present from my father years ago, the only difference is that mine has another exhale valve instead of the voice diaphragm

Looks like a gp9 aka the metro mask I could get this one also i just bought the m74 from 1951 that looks brand new that its amazing

that voice diaphram is really good your voice is extremely clear

Just got mine with Scott Pro 2000 ABEKP3 filter and just love it! So easy to breath compared my old Finnish M/61 :D

I kind of like that mask. Pretty comfortable. If only it did not have the weird smell the plastic has. Wash with soapy water and soaking for a while in mild bleach reduced the "chemical" smell but did not remove it completely on my mask. The exhale valve gets in the way if you shoulder a rifle on right shoulder. That is something to always check on any mask :) Some very few masks are a bit wider and just allow me to put eye glasses with them. This is not one of them. Well worth the 40 to 50€ I payed for mine in new in a box condition.

That looks a good option not as scary looking as some of the mil ones

Just bought 3 today with sealed filters, but they expired 2016. Can they still be used as secondary filters ?

What are affordable/cheap yet well built/comfortable gas masks you would recommend? Do you have a video like that I've not spotted? Might be another good video to make, going over well made affordable gas masks. Thanks for the info and vids you make!

i have one of these but when I was checking the exhale valve, it was damage so don't know where I can find an exhale valve that fits in the mask :c

How Can I disinfect my gas mask if it gets contamined by the virus? I heard that rubbing alcohol kills it but I really don't know an efficient way to disinfect my mask

I like it as it looks less threatening than my FM12. However I'm sensitive to the sunlight (I'm probably a vampire) and need to wear sunnies. I have tinted outserts for my FM12. Any idea of there are masks like this with a detachable tinted visor? Thanks.

I ordered 3 thanks for the review. For 49 US dollars and you can use NATO filters its a good deal. It looks like it was originally a Honeywell product. With covid you want a full mask for eye protection.

So how can I desinfect this mask? Alcohol causes micro fractures in acrylic.

There is a problem with this - the top strap is neither elastic nor adjustable and can produce a poor seal at the forehead...

Are these an all-size-fits all sort of thing? seems they're all medium, assuming that that M means "medium".

One thing I'm confused about is that I keep hearing people say the Polish GSP-M is a mask used by the divers in Chernobyl. I even saw that comparison on an Ebay listing. However, the pictures side by side don't look like the same mask at all. Also Gas Mask King's description of the mask is just "The lens featured a thumb operated wiper blade for defogging. It was used for firefighting, mining, and industrial purposes." These are just a few concerns I have in case you ever get your hands on one and make a video on it. I'm not saying they weren't used in the real Chernobyl event, but it's clearly not the same mask as those used on screen. Also pretty much everyone who says they own one has reported them to being extremely tiny. I'm not sure if there is more than one size to these or not. If you go to my twitter (same name) you'll see I recently posted pictures of mine worn by a much smaller friend and even she had a bit of trouble squeezing it on (I put a hose on it from a gp5 just for aesthetic).
