Do you know what happens, if you polish a chocolate piece, with ice water? Well i do it in this video. Watch it to find out what happens if you polish chocolate with ice-cold water. I absolutely love your videos! Thank you for all you do. You should make a video on natural food coloring for cocoa butter and make some designs with it. I can’t have many of the artificial food colorings and it is very sad. Otherwise I would love suggestions for natural colorings you like.

Hey Markus, I used this technique with all of my sculptures, it really works, as well on polishing any kind of milk/dark chocolate. Although,… I am wondering something. Did you follow the program school of chocolate of Amaury on Netflix? In one of his episodes he let the team work with cacao butter and learned them how you could make cacao butter shine after spraying it on an object without the use of a mold. He explained that you first need to paint the base with white cacao butter, let is set. Then, paint it with e.g. blue cacao butter and let it set again. Then heat it till the blue cacao butter is melted and then polish it with HOT water. I thought it was a mistake and I watched that part 10 times. But they indeed used steamy hot water. Of course I tried it but you just wipe away the cacao butter ….. my question is, do you also understand his technique? As I remembered well, he explained that it was only possible with milk chocolate because of a reaction…

😂. My chocolate became white. But if you say you Can, i will try again. I watched Amaurys on Netflix. Brilliant. And tryed with hot water. Than didnt work at all. 😀. But i will find out🤞

@@SweetKitchenSkills if your experience is the same, then maybe they made a mistake during recording 😉 it doesn't sound logical to me as well. But the technique with ice water really works! The tip is that you should use a soft piece of fabric or micro fibre like you did in your video I think. Great video again 👍🏻

Ships,.... Yes I think you're right.... We should look that part again then 😜 he heats the blue CB untill it is melted. I am as well almost 100% sure that it only worked with milk chocolate because there is an ingredient that sets due to the hot water. But when I tried, it came off. Let me know if you know how 👍🏻😉 if you look at his Facebook movie about the two tigers, you see him making the CB shine as well with a heatgun 🙈

I was shocked to read you were going to polish chocolate with ice water? Water? The enemy of chocolate in its liquid form but you plan to polish the solid form. Ok. And it worked nicely.

Well you are right. The enemy of chocolate. But remember there is a fat barrier (cocoa butter) between chocolate and water!!! You can´t polish chocolate directly, But you Can use water to make a smooth finish on a showpiece.

Hello how are you? Today I came across a problem and remembered this video of yours. I have 200 shells of bonbons that have lost their luster as they have been stored for a few days. These chocolate shells were painted with colored cocoa butter in the form of bonbons, as we already know. I would like to know if I can polish these bonbon shells with cold water to restore the paint's shine and if I can fill the bonbons after it dries. No chance of mold? Thank you!

Hello. That sounds like a lot of work. You Can polish cocoa butter. But not chocolate. Only shells is not a good idea. Maybe if the bonbons are ready and you make sure only to touch the cocoa butter surface. But i would not recommend this.

Can I spray cocoa butter on the egg-shaped mold first, and then use chocolate to make egg-shaped chocolate? Also, I love your videos and look forward to seeing your new work all the time.

Taiwan. Cool. Would love to visit Taiwan. I am not sure if i understand your question. Of course you Can spray the molds with cocoa butter and then use chocolate to make the Shell. This was just a different approach. Please watch my other videos. Its all explained there. And tell your friends about me. From now i will translate my videos to chinese.

Why does my colored cocoa butter runs off the chocolate mould even tho the cocoa butter temperature is at 28c? I have to spray like 3 layers to cover it all. What temperature does my chocolate mould need to be at?

Hello. Maybe you should start to say hello too, before asking me question. You clearly havent watched all my videos. All the answers are there. Watch the videos, there are so many factores, that Can be the reason. I even have made a video about right mold temperatures😎. They should be about 17C. Have a nice day
