Those were paid insurgents with masks on in the video. What I don't get, is why they don't use the government he left behind. I've never heard specifics about it, but The Green Book he wrote I guess is about a governement that let the people govern themselves. He knew the regional conflicts of his nation and built giant arena like forums were all the people would gather and decide on rules together. It worked very well.

nope, actually it's Obama who is the devil in this and the Libyan people themself. Obama acted on his own by ordering airstrikes (he never asked the Senate for permission) on Gaddafi his forces and it was the Libyan poeple who took up arms against their own legitimate leader after he tried to break down the protests by hired mercenaries. If Gaddafi hadn't done this he still might have been in power today.

a strong leader does not need to crunch it's people who disagree with them. we know that people who prioritize love what they deserve when the time is right, based even solely on Quran, you could say the same vice versa. anyone who tries to claim they are bringing judgement upon another without recognizing their limited role in the grand scheme of things is simply misguided. peace for all, god willing.

imagine not giving into the political charade and stepping down when your people feel you are wrong. that would have arguably achieved the same result. people should not attribute their blessings to one man when we know he was backed by them.

I should also say, it is really lazy to blame the United States anymore beyond 2013. Strong global policies will prove to outweigh sanctions. Libyans and Africa as a whole does not need to starve because we have been manipulated. We should have been sharing what we can through the IOT and learning. Not calling it all on any "thems". Someone hopefully sees what I mean.
