Beautiful and how you just carried on when you saw the vole is impressive lol! I have a mouse that visits my garden. I used to be scared lol but I've accepted it because if I i was a mouse I'd wanna be in my garden too!

Yes I'm used to all the garden critters but rodents never bothered me. Feral cats in the neighborhood hunt them and I'd love to see some snakes around too. Of course, we don't have any venemous snakes here, so I never had much fear of them either. 🙂 Thank you for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed the video!

I believe that hosta is Gold Standard. I accidentally planted one in full sun and it handled it like a boss. When it's planted in more shade it will be greener than the gold color it becomes when it receives more sun.

Ah, that could be! I got two on clearance because they were labeled Guacamole but they don't have the deep green margins of guacamole. The other one gets a lot of sun as well and is doing great!

Very beautiful colorful flowers in your garden. I have voles too, they were do destructive last winter. I just have a new cat ive been letting it go outside everyday. Hopefully it will keep the voles away from my garden.

Thank you! I've seen the feral cats in the neighborhood catch mice and voles in my garden. They are welcome to come hunt here all they want!

I hear yah I too love coleus. I have lots of shade and they thrive in it. The shade needs their rich colours.

The only downside is how much water they require. Otherwise, they're perfect!

I think it was a vole, although I have seen mice around the garden as well. They make a cozy home in the shed over the winter, but as long as they stay out if the house I don't mind too much. 😅
