Is this a a fully customize synth in a guitar paddle? 🧔🏽‍♂️🤯 wow! This is mind blowing!!!

I ordered one but then canceled my order, primarily to avoid having another comprehensive, complicated device that would take my attention away from other devices I am exploring (Zoia, Sensel Morph, etc). Two other reasons were: patch loading seems to be very slow. If i am ok with slow, then i can do most of this with an ipad running AUM. The second reason is the touchscreen: live parameter changes are not easy and instantaneous, unless a midi controller is used and as i have seen in this and other videos, the icons are too small and easy to miss. Otherwise I love it, especially the fact that it is a four channel device with quad IR reverbs. Whenever possible, I play in quad and this device would be perfect for that. Running four mono granulators into a quad reverb and being able to pan those granulators and send four different signals to them... in such a small device. That is amazing. This is not easy to do on an ipad and would require an external multichannel audio interface. I think what it really needs to be a performance device is a macro system (Ableton, Hydrasynth) that allows manipulation of many parameters. It has two encoders and I can even imagine having two macros assigned to them. Like having two hotknobs a la Eventide H9. Add a few large sliders on the screen and no need for a midi controller. Basically, a performance mode where the patch is locked and the screen has only a few sliders (larger than those currently available) or XY pads alongside the two knobs that control parameters. One other thing I like is the fact(?) that its processor is much more powerful than the zoias. The Zoia, amazing as it is, stalls as soon as you get a bit too complicated or add a reverb.

I've seen your various FX pedal/module videos, all of which are really helpful (interesting and musical, too). It could make for an interesting video at sometime in the future if you made a combined presentation of these, and how you use them nowadays, and what you've learnt from them - Zoia, Beebo and Hologram too, which I think I've seen here.

What you didnt know is you can change the entire system to Beebo ( you are in Digit) if you click on the Cog icon :-)

The list of effect modules doesn't include any choruses/flangers, is it possible/easy to build your own with delay and lfo modules?

I'm sure i'm not the only person who has said this but I hate how RMR's most popular videos seem to be when he makes a song with the OP-1. Don't get me wrong I can understand why but the fact that people won't view his other content is upsetting because the OP-1 isn't his only talent.

The idea of building an effects patch on this (and the Zoia) is very appealing however, it’s no Eventide H9, you essentially have a couple of algorithms for each effect right ? So it’s just a generic reverb, generic delay, etc... what we really want is a patchable H9 Max with a touchscreen...

So can I hook up a regular guitar expression pedal to this to control parameters or is it just midi input control?

Does the poly digit act as a mixer or do you have it all running through a mixer? Super keen to get a good fx pedal for my op-1 but get confused when it gets too techy.

First thing that I thought of was "Zoia with a GUI". Really nice-looking, but would you want to use this in a pedalboard? I don't think that that screen would survive more than a couple gigs.
