The thing I love about this is that Ben Schwartz is treating this not like an interview, but like a date. At the end of this Ben knows Pat's age, pant size, where he lives, where he grew up, and which humans he finds attractive. He's also quite flirty all throughout.

Wait a second... earlier in the interview, Ben said that in the movie, Sonic is running from something. He then says Sonic is running from Pat. Later he says Pat is his Shadow. Right after that, Pat says that Sonic and Shadow eventually team up, to which Ben says, “No spoilers, ya’know whatimean”. Pat is Shadow confirmed.

I can't physically watch interviews with actors on the junket, they feel unnatural and forced. This was unnatural but in such a deliciously watchable and chaotic way.

Can we just talk about how perfect an actor for Sonic that Ben is? The perfect balance of quick wit, sarcasm, and fun just fits Sonic so perfect. This interview 10/10 👍

This is genuinely the most entertaining interview I have every seen in my 30 years of life. I definitely want there to be a second one. I hope they can come up with a reason to get the two of them together even if there is no Sonic sequel. Just interview Ben Schwartz for every project he does even if it is a flop.

@@doggo4393 It's months later but nope I did mean Pat moves right on, he leaned into Ben's button-press joke and went right into the next Q, and Ben cracks a little smile after :) the button press is also a very good joke though
