Awesome vid, Rich. That is the exact M.2 SSD I have been looking at getting when I receive my Deluxe Bundle. Great choice, my friend. I did hear from others that the internal SSD screw is very tough to remove until it becomes lessened from the factory state. I always get nervous about removing screws and striping the heads on them. I'll have to be very conscientious when installing the SSD and dealing with that screw. Anyway, I'm loving the videos and enjoying watching your journey with the Base Unit. Have a great time with your new console. 🙂👍

Thanks so much, and I can imagine others had some difficulty too…it looks like some manufacturers love to torque those things when putting units together! It really is convenient, and you can store the games on the HD and play them without having to switch the modules back, so that’s pretty neat too! Thanks as always for the support and for checking this out my friend!! 👍😀👊🔥🔥🔥

I ended up stripping the screw because I attempted to take it out before checking out this video. The good news is that a pair of needle nose pliers and a pair of tweezers were all I needed to get the screw out and back in to secure the SSD. I am linking this video on Twitter so hopefully fewer people will have the headache I had.

I ordered a fairly cheap 2TB WD SSD from Best Buy on the 1st. It was supposed to be there by this past Tuesday. As of today, it still hasn't come in. So I'm just waiting, waiting, waiting to install my collection. Whatever I'm playing, I'm just using the disc. It's killing me. lol I'm dying to get all games on there. Even the ones I don't play too often.

I wish my PolyMega worked. Playmaji sent me a non working unit. I'm not really sure if this is a known issue with some others out there but mine won't work. Sure the power light comes on and you can hear it running quietly. However there is no audio or video coming through the hdmi cord that's hooked up to my television. I've also tried on multiple televisions but to no avail. So I've sent a reply and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

I don't have a Polymega yet. Are you using the hdmi cable that was supplied with the console? I wonder if your TV is 4k/120hz? You could test with a different cable, or via a different port. Many modern TV only have one or two full bandwidth HDMI 2.1 ports, so you might have success with HDMI 2.0. The other thing you might try, if you have access to one, is a computer monitor. I read a post elsewhere, from someone who was experiencing the same problem as you, had tried multiple TV sets with no success, but finally had a display output via a monitor, switched the default 720p output to 1080p, and then it finally worked with his TV. The best of luck to you, I hope your problem will be resolved soon.

@@whiteumbrella7661 I needed a longer hdmi cord because the one they supplied was too short for my setup. My television isn't a 4k television. I tried with several different hdmi ports on my TV as well. I haven't thought to try switching from 1080p to 720 or vice versa.
