I think the Brawler 64 controller is made by RetroFighters. They make an excellent PS1/PS2 and PS3 controller. I actually use their N64 controller as a Switch N64 pad (and it's recognized as N64 on the Switch, not as a Pro controller).

Really chill video! Great just to see your honest expression :D I REALLY look forward to the N64 from Analogue "this year".. Did you hear of it? Love the pocket

Thanks for your support Scresho! I've heard Analogue is coming out with a N64. The hype is real. I love my pocket as well but I haven't seen any news on the 64.

Glad to see the PolyMega getting coverage. I sadly am more a PS1 and PS2 kid (and Gamecube). So I didn't bother with the PolyMega, but I'd be interested in a next-gen version that does the newer disc consoles. I'm glad it does PS1 and Saturn as it currently is though.

Shit's too expensive, does it really deserve the coverage? I mean certainly it's a neat idea, being able to swap out different attachments for the console you want, but... why would you do this? Why wouldn't you just buy the original console? Or better yet, emulate on a more affordable device? Just so you can use your cartridges? It's a neat *idea* but much more cumbersome in effect than the alternatives and *far* more expensive. If you really want to use your cartridges and you really want authenticity, it's likely you care about using genuine hardware and not a weird mix-and-match device that costs like $800 for a deluxe set that includes several off-brand controllers and attachments for different consoles. I just don't get it. Who in their right mind would buy this? If it weren't modular, which makes more sense and seems less exploitative, and you were able to just buy one device that handles it all for say... idk, $400 at the most, then this would serve a good purpose. Pop in any cartridge you want and the device will function, great. You can continue to use cartridges without the inconvenience of plugging in another console and setting it up (which isn't that much of a problem to begin with as you probably have a million alternatives to just swap the cables over or convert them to HDMI to use up all your TV slots or use with an HDMI toggle device, of which I have like 6 and they all work great). But as it stands, it's just an expensive way to do something worse. For what? To use a controller that looks nothing like the original console's design, costs way more and probably lacks the build quality and definitely lacks the nostalgia of the original? What do you have to be smoking to think this is a good value? It's like $89 for this attachment on top of the system itself which is $549. Alternatively you can spend like $100-140 for a genuine N64 or even less for a retro handheld or other device capable of playing these games through rock-solid emulators with enhancements. Sure, it has save states and other small but useful features that a genuine console doesn't have without some sort of extra tool or hackjob, but again, so do emulators and those are much cheaper. It's an idea I would very much *like* to like, but I can't. How long are these controllers really going to last if they come with the module at less than $100? Because there's where cheapness becomes a *problem* instead of a boon. Egh... at least it looks pretty sleek and I guess there is some novelty to it, but $500 for the base set and $800 ON SALE for the deluxe set? _Madness._ You'd have to be stupid to shell out that kind of money. The controllers are going to break and you're not getting your money's worth because you still have to buy all the fucking games and those are not cheap.

@@Lucifronz$300 dollars for the base unit would have been better since most people like me would buy the modules (mainly the NES and SNES) and light gun. When I saw the price went all the way up from the 200 something dollar mark, I went ahead and just bought the ps5 back in 2021🤷‍♀️.

@WIImotionmasher The only consoles I'm interested in from this are PS1 (since my ps2 slim has a problem saving PS1 games with the memory card), NES, SNES, and maybe the N64. I grew up as a NES, PS2, and Nintendo DS kid btw

I wonder how games that save to the controller memory card work. Or if you can disable/enable the Ram expansion pak.

I saw it has different modes for TV's I may have missed it, but does it have any upscaling?
@ModernBroadcast

Unfortunately no, I would've really liked seeing an upscale option. The pixel stuff it works for but when we start getting to n64 and all the triangles it looks a bit smudgy on my QLED.

I wish they input a streaming/broadcast video option in this console. This feature did came to mind, but they dropped it. Also, in the future I would love to play Nintendo ds games on this or just any console that will let me play it on the big screen.
@ModernBroadcast

That would be a nice feature should it ever be implemented back in.

@@ModernBroadcast yeah sure would be. It should let you record video for at least 2hrs (as long as you got enough storage space) and let you stream video for as long as you want. Also, with your voice being able to be included.

I can't get Duke Nukem Zero Hour or Hexen 64 to run. They crash to the dash everytime I try to run them.

Hi, maybe you guys are my last hope. Does anyone knows any trick to restore the Polymega system operation? the last update(1.1.30) fucked up my console and the factory reset is not working. After the polymega logo I have the black screen of death. As usual no answer from playmaji support team. Any file to put on a usb drive to boot from? I tried everything but nothing seems to work, I'm desperate
