I agree with the Apex trigger! I bought the trigger shoe and and swaped out the glock oem shoe with it. Very easy to do. I polished the trigger bar. Very pleased with the results!

Tony Fisher great to hear! I did forget to mention that the trigger is polished so maybe just the shoe is the way to go! I fired it on Saturday and besides the slide lever, it performed just great! Thanks for the confirmation!

There is a small internal shelf on P80 frames that needs to be shaved down a little to allow the slide release to completely bottom-out under its spring pressure.

Awesome video! I built a 19 & a 26 in the past 2 months I had a lot of fun. On the 19 the lever was garbage to begin with I wasn’t sure a good replacement what did you get? From poly80 or from another company?

Great video! Just ordered a couple of those slide lock releases for 2 of my P80 43. The P80 broke on me, and all ive done is dry fire it haha.. looks like you're in AZ maybe ill see out there as i am too

I put my p80 frame in the freezer before milling and drilling. It actually helped with burring and melting.

Did you ever hear of the P80 Front Locking Block Pin Or Trigger Housing Pin causing slide drag and trigger inconsistencies? I left it out altogether and it resets perfectly without it. Is it necessary if the G19 doesn’t have one?

Do you know what exact parts kit you used ? I keep seeing all the bad stories of slides sticking , and things not functioning correctly.

No matter how I tried to build one I can never find a reliable source that actually has parts in stock

In order to get the slide release to fit better, I removed some material where the release sits in the frame. No more unwanted slide locking.

cracky1970 unfortunately mine is a bent slide lock lever spring but my new one should be here today so I’ll let you know.

Try the gen 5 Glock trigger , only have to do minor mod to fit it

Did u use the internals and spring that came from rockslide, i have a desert sand one it looks awsome havent fired it sence i built because ive been focused on my ars

I did actually. I had one probably with an extractor that I had to replace with a factory OEM one, other than that, all good.

These and shadow systems are cool but I still like my stock glocks with the only thing changed is the guide rods. I have shadow systems and still like my stock glocks better

I completely agree and I’ve since gone back to stock Glocks. I’m planning to make a video on why.

MAS Defense currently has a lot of lowers in stock, go get a lower, then find the parts kit on eBay or somewhere that has them.

Have you ever owned one of their slides? I own two, thousands or rounds, not a single issue.

@@SkinnyWaterVibes yes Glock 26 gen3 slide first one wouldn’t even go on the frame with the barrel that came with it as the barrel was out of spec. When they sent a new barrel after about 400 rds the slide cracked in the porting area. They replaced it but I haven’t even messed with it again. The quality is not good and U can tell that comparing it to a good well made slide. So I’ve had it for about 3 yrs now in the box collecting dust because I like quality.
