The technique you used, with so little clay, gave a wonderful effect. I've never seen makume gane used without covering the entire surface of the backing clay. Your pendants are stunning. And this is not the first time you're creative mind has done something I've never seen before. How fun for me and the rest of us! Thank you so much for making this video!

I just tried to make this one. It’s not as pretty as yours but it’s made. I used every measurement you said and I didn’t get as big of a block as yours. So I think that be the difference. My settings on my pasta machine are 9 thickest -to 10. It seems like most attempts are my problem. However you have helped me make something new, it’s still fun trying. Thanks again.

Wow, these are absolutely gorgeous! When I saw the pendant in the thumbnail at 1st, I could not figure out how you created it. It looks exactly like a butterfly wing! I typically don't gravitate towards mokume gane very often because, in all honesty, I tend to feel like it usually turns out a little too busy & childish looking for my taste. But this one though.. holy moly, it's BEAUTIFUL. It looks so classy & elegant while still maintaining those traditional mokume gane elements of fun & intrigue. I absolutely love what you did and I thank you so so much for sharing it with us!!

I learned a lot of stuff from your tutorials that help my claying in general. 👍 PS I also like the way you do the mokume game, too many fuss with it too much they put it through the pasta roller, they make too many indentations, and there is really no design. Also cutting out beforehand is a great idea. You've no idea how many tips I've gotten from you.
