Maybe the clay was not very transparent, or maybe it was too thick... I've never used that polymer clay, so I don't know, but I feel that Sarnit is the most transparent.

Baking times vary depending on the oven you are using. My oven can get too hot, so I adjust the temperature and bake at the set temperature for 30 minutes to an hour.

Depending on the type and thickness of the translucent clay, the base may not show through.

I used Premo for the white and black polymer clay, and Cernit for the translucent. If I don't have any Cernit clay I'll use Premo. I used Ohuhu acrylic paint. It's a soft acrylic paint, so I didn't need much water.
