I use Amazon for most of my items but for clay I order from blueberry beads. If you are just starting out you will need a roller, tissue blade, ceramic tile preferably to bake on, liquid clay (translucent) and cutters of your choice, I suggest the metal ones of all different shapes that are very inexpensive as I still use those mostly. If you are looking for translucent clays cernit, sculpey, and fimo are all good. As for colored clay which you can use to color your trans. I would start off with primary colors since you can mix them to any color you want. You can get cheap mica powder and alcohol inks as well so don’t feel the need to buy the expensive items.
