I bought Cernit clay years ago after watching a comparison tutorial by Polymer Clay Tutor. It has been sitting in a tray collecting dust all these years because it is my "good" clay. But, your faux stone tutorials have inspired me to finally play with the Cernit. I'm really enjoying learning new techniques, and revisiting familiar ones. Thank you so much.

Thank you, Deb, I really appreciate your tutorials! I usually watch several of them at a time while sipping a cocktail, then decide to try it myself. Of course, I'm basically doing a mishmash of those various techniques, but I'm having a blast! And most of the time I end up with some really beautiful pieces!

I have never ever been sea sick and that was a first time for me, and we lived on the river and spent tons of time on the water. lol so ya it took a lot for me to feel that way. But the rest of the cruise was awesome. So enjoy it as I’m sure you have been already since your hubby is a dream for every women. lol tfs hugs

Thanks for the great tute! I have a question regarding the chopped bits. Don't you need to condition the clay and then do your chippy/choppy bits? I understand that using a liberal amount of liquid polymer clay will hold in the chippy / choppy bits in this tute but what about when the bits are bigger?

How many “practice runs” do you usually make before you have a technique where you are happy with it?

I saw on one of your tutorials how you did a fancy larks head with a knot. Could you do it again or tell me where to find it. I have looked everywhere.
