As someone new to the idea of polymer clay, this has been one of the BEST tutorials I have seen so far which helped me to understand how to manipulate the clay into something wonderful. Just wanted to say thanks for showing us the process, from beginning to end. It seems very involved, but worth the effort for the end result. If people only realized all the work that goes into your pieces.

Clay is versatile. Nice. I used to do this with layers of clay and gold leaf, slice it thin and apply pieces to wood turning pen blanks. Bake, sand and polish. Great effect. My husband was a woodturner. I am a mixed media artist, mostly fiber. Been a long time since I worked with clay.

I admire the amount of time and effort you put into this. It's worth at least $500
