That was wonderful! I would love to see more of the reduction process for a cane this shape since I'm somewhat of a newbie to PC, that part always seems to give me fits. Your instruction is so clear and the cane is beautiful. I will be watching this more than once that's for sure! Best tip in the video: Confine your stripe pieces to a flat strip of clay. They won't wander as you try to fit them around the heart. Make sure that the strip is at least 1 inch longer than the shape you're wrapping it around. Good stuff!

I am new to polymer clay. I understand reducing a cane that is one inch long and 3 to 4 inches diameter. And maybe I can visual a deduction of a cane half inch long. But the cane you showed at the end of this video looked to be only 1/4. Inch long or high and 3 to 4 inches in diameter. I under stood you to say you would reduce it down to a much longer and smaller diameter. Wow, would like to see that. Being so thin to start I would think it impossible to keep the design from distortion. Even if you did use the coffee lids. Hope you understood what I was trying to say. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and time. It has been very helpful.

When u make a cane do it FASTER! Especially if you say it's easy cause if you make the video long it seems hard to people. SO MAKE THEM SHORTER!
