Disney Vacation Club is now offering tours of different rooms and villas at each of the DVC resorts to allow guests to see what many of the larger villas look like in person. One of the villas guests can currently tour is a bungalow at The Polynesian Villas and Bungalows. These villas are so pretty and a very unique stay at Walt Disney World.
The bungalows have two bedrooms and sleep up to 8 adults. Our favorite thing about the bungalow is the amazing view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom (which isn't currently happening right now) and having room service delivered to your room (we prefer 'Ohana, but it isn't open at the moment, and in-room dining is currently suspended).
We stayed in bungalow number 20 which is actually the one in this video, but we were so close to the ferry, we didn't get any sleep. They worked on the ferry all night both nights we were there, and the horn went off super early for testing. Then the horn would sound every 10 minutes as the ferries alternated going into the dock.
The experience itself was cool, but it was way too much money for not being able to get any rest in our opinion. If you do decide to stay in a bungalow, we recommend enjoying the time in the room for a couple days and spending time at the resort, and then moving rooms when you're ready for some park days and won't be in the room as much.

Thank you for this tour of a Bungalow! I stayed in a 1st floor studio in the middle of Moorea a couple years ago and was able to sleep OK. But the ferry horn may well be even louder out on the lagoon.

the part where they were in unoccupied rooms in the middle of a pandemic with no masks on, leading to the possible spread of covid because you never know if they'll go in and deep clean after them. what if it was already deep cleaned? the lack of mindfulness, the lack of caring about their fellow disney fans: that's what I disliked.

Love ur videos!!! Wanted to know how the bugs and spiders were while staying here? I’ve heard from other people staying there the bugs were pretty bad because u are right on the water

Thank you 😊 We didn’t have issues with spiders or anything like that. There were a lot of misquotes, so we were careful about leaving doors open or spraying ourselves before watching the fireworks on the back deck.

Was this filmed recently? I noticed the cast member wearing a mask, but you 2 were not so I got kind of confused. Nice tour. They are beautiful. P.s. agreed sound was really low this video

The sound is kinda low.... I had my Macbook Pro sound ALL the way up. just fyi.... Normally I can hear you fine on your videos. Great one by the way. (I wish Bay Lake Tower would upgrade their "couch beds" into the wall unit kind with the better mattresses! When you have 2 adults that don't want to share a bed, but also want a DECENT nights rest, the mattress is important... I would not know this if not for your wonderful videos)

If money were not an issue, the cabins at Copper Creek would be the best stay ever! We loved it there, and it has so much space. ❤️ That would be our choice 😊

Beautiful but sooooo expensive for the casual tourist. I wonder what the % of guest actually cook??? I agree, stay there for a night or 2 for the experience (like an anniversary or honeymoon) then move on to another resort at 1/2-1/4th the nightly cost in $$$. I guess it would be treated like flying business/first class. You use your points (CC or DVC).

Definitely. ❤️ Not sure about the percentage, but they’re for sure not all booked right now lol It was nice for a couple nights, but it truly is a lot of points for the stay. 😬 We’d rather enjoy lots of other places for the same amount of points. 😊
