I think a lot of the most technical musicians need to concentrate really heavily to make it through their parts. Another guitarist that comes to mind for me is Paul Waggoner, that man does not take a single step through his set lol A lot of drummers in the industry are nearly machines, RVP, Black Richardson, old Alex Rudinger. Even Clay is barely moving when playing through intense traps hats, his motion is perfect. He bobs a bit, but his spine barely moves despite his hands flying all over the kit. Very clearly did marching drums since childhood. Sorry drummer here lol

LEWZR seriously dude he slays. I think a lot of people forget how crazy talented these guys and how well they hold it down. Especially in the last year or two. I've seen them life a handful of times and each performances reinforces how committed they are to the craft despite their outlandish style 🙂

I'm still impressed how these guys need very little to no gain. Haven't seen a lot of people shredding on a clean tone, where mistakes can be much more audible.

No they’re super audible on distortion. If you accidentally sweep and don’t mute the a or e then it’ll ruin the entire sweep and if if you don’t mute the b or g which are pretty loud and will make the sweep sound weird and bad

Drummer had to have had some marching experience of some sort. Sweeps normally aren't done on a drum kit by typical set players. Rebound control and the fact he can play a 5 stroke roll that tight consistently makes sense to me

Munir Johari it’s criticism. It can be neither wrong or right. I personally agree. I like their songs on the new album, but I wanna hear the song with actual drums on mix rather than muted. I will admit their songs are hard to play, I’m having a tough time learning a lot of their songs, but criticism can be given regardless if someone is better than you. :)
