I took music appreciation a while back. My family is fuck of professional musicians. I’ve heard live music my entire life every Sunday growing up. Polyphia reminds me of every genre mixed together. And that’s something the church I grew up in was. It’s one of the most unique sounds you will ever hear. Polyphia is definitely there for me.

Exactly haha Polyphia was always about proving that you can make banger r&b/metal songs without a vocalist or rapper The album messed up by putting the vocals at the front when it was all about the instruments - which applied to what the audience wanted as well

The nearly impossible and completely improbable stuff that these guys come up with on a regular basis makes it very difficult to isolate a favorite from this or that. I mean a nylon classical guitar.. nylon.. with a ridiculously dropped tuning even for a seven string and they just Breeze right through it! WTF that shit doesn't even go together but they still do it and it sounds great! So yeah I agree basically why is nobody talking about time stamp the whole song LOL they're amazing and their music composition is off the chart and completely unique. If it’s like Bernth, it’s a zinc alloy, and I’d say it’s a sort of 3 dimensional plate that overlays the body wood. it’s done in the same style
