My dog likes drools focus, its good as per price. She never liked the taste of Royal canin. I also tried purina dog food. To be very honest unless you are very rich its really hard to continue with Royal Canin. someone once told me that "if you cant feed royal canin , you should not own a dog" But I think Sometimes we can't afford the most expensive things for our dogs, but that does not make us bad pet parents. We want the best for our pets , but sometimes our economic conditions are not so well, even if you are poor, no one can stop you from loving a dog. 🐾 Have a good day guys

I never used all those dog dry foods. Am always prefer to use German dry food "Bell For". Because its best among others. By feeding " Bell For" for kids to my black tan male 2 month Doberman puppy, am getting best result .

Even I fed my dog royal canin trusting my vet but got to learn nutrition the hard way, when my dog started to have diarrhea, constipation, vommiting and sickness. Then started researching on this brand and found that this brand actually funds vet universities into reccomending this food. And this food also has grain distilisers. And mites and habit this kibble as the main ingredients are grains. And now I stand in a place where I research the ingredients, past recalls, reviews, processing method and guranteed analysis of any packaged food that i feed my dog.

@@abhishek1085 That is very great that pet parents especially Indian pet parents want to switch their pets to a fresh whole food diet. Firstly I Reccomend u not to hurry up. Feed ur pet some boiled chicken just as a treat and see how his immune system would react if it does not react well and shows vommiting, diarrhea etc u need to gradually increase the portion. And it can take months. If it responses good and shows smaller and harder poop, actively playing u can switch it a little fastly in a matter of weeks. Then u need to find out which protiens suit ur pet the most go through a bunch of meat, seafood and poultry pick any 2-4 different proteins that your pet shows good response (active, small and hard poop, reduce in poop frequency, good sking etc) although u should change them up a little bit from time to time so that it is introduced to a variety of proteins and does not get allergic to having a excess of the same proteins again and again. I know this is hard for an Indian to find a variety of meat but chicken, mutton, prawn, fish, goat, eggs are some that are easy to find. And also slowly introduce it to high fibre veggies like pumpkin, sweet potato etc... And start adding more low carbohydrate veg into its diet. Make sure the animal based food is at least 65% and veg is a max of 10% as well as cabs as minimum as possible. I will list down some videos that can help u about the ingredients and also guide about fresh food in another comment cause this is full 😅

You are very correct but you should also see the procesing method such ALL the dog food in this video Are highly processed. Other foods such as Farmina, Orijen Etc use low temps to cook the food which will increase the nutrient bioavailability in the food. And nutrient bioavailability is very important. Even I don't trust any other pet food company but minimally processed low carb farmina is the brand that i trust very much give with meat based low carb homemade food

Yes it is necessary to give non veg to dog because it is a carnivore,u can give puppy starter food of a quality brand and u need to continue giving starter until its 3month after months u can switch to puppy formula.

I used to feed my doberman puppy royal canin. Then I switched to focus. Initially it was eating but then it stopped completely. I mixed eggs with it still he was not eating. Then i switched to pedigree puppy chicken and milk now he s eating it alone. And without hydration as well sometimes. But i mostly feed him with boiled chicken or eggs. I had a very horrible expirience with focus. As my puppy was starving but not eating it. And started developing health and skin problems. Big no to focus from my side

Correct information : please read. Real chicken, the first ingredient is a gimmick; real chicken ( can include by products) is in natural state and has lot of moisture. Which is used by the company to make it look as first ingredient and fool people. When you cook it; weight of it reduces drastically in the end product. Actually speaking... Long grain rice and oatmeal is the main bulk ingredient in the drools focus food. Just marketing gimmick. Whereas in Royal Canin, it is dehydrated poultry protein which is in concentrated form and dry form ; literally twice protein content than raw chicken. The maize used by RC is class A grade and they expertise in making all ingredients highly digestible. Corn is not bad; the grade and what digestibility and what proportion matters. RC expertise is vast and results speak when you feed. You cannot just decide the quality of food reading ingredients; you have to decide it correctly.

Right Harsha, corn is alergic for some dogs but % is very less. RC made this food with R&D. I personally used when my Lab was 45 days and got better result, later at 6month age, moved to other food as it costly. So better use, not driven by the marketing strategy. Another Suggestion to all of you give your dog - home made food and ready food combinations. You will get best result. Am giving pup start and pedigree starter for 4 times...but he is very weak..and not active.. also am giving calcium syrup and multi vitamin syrup...even though it looks very lazy...to become active what can i do..pls suggest

Better start boneless chicken with rice + little salt + turmeric. Boiled egg with rice. Also go for curd + rice (in non or in extreme summer). Fish oil (10 ml), initially once a day. For dog food, you may have pedigree pro or drool focus or canine creek. Please note, give dog food once a day and remaining 2 times, what i suggested above.

I feed my pomeranian puppy pedigree usually and when I changed to drools my puppy because very weak and even coat shine has reduced and even became sick

You should give 80 percent pedigree and drools 20 percent to make his permanent dog food my golden retriever also have this problem do this he we be weel and try to give him royalcanin

Loose Koodhi - the best dog foods are N&D and Orijin -> Then comes Taste of the Wild and Acana!! (only after these 4 comes Royal Canin) Pedigree and Drools are the worst food which should not be given to Dogs - especially Puppies!! I know Dogs and I have been having Dogs all my life... so guys beware!!

Pedigree is #1 according to me. By products(chicken and meat) are also very important. Only meat is not important. A combination of carbohydrates, proteins, fats, probiotics, multivitamins and calcium supplements are also needed for proper growth. None of the dog products reviewed above have probiotics in them. Homemade food(along with multivitamins, Vitamin D3, calcium supplements and probiotics) + pedigree is the right combination

Pedigree has very high carb content which is very bad for dogs as dogs were naturally only designed to digest 12-15% carbs only. There are by products in this feed which can include Animals intestines, hooves and udders, intestines and hooves are definitely not good for dogs. And as dogs are Scavenging carnivores dogs can't digest much plant matter so Meat is the most important thing in pet foods.They also Label 'MEAT' instead of which meat it is. It can include the 4d animals - Dead, Dying, Diseased and Decaying Animals. And also slaughterhouse products. The MEAT labeling can include any type of meat such as pork, beef, turkey and other unknown meats.

@@snoopymybuddy3107which dog food do you recommend for community dogs? I certainly can’t afford N&D for them. I have been feeding them drools since 2-3 years but i wanted to switch now. I can’t get proper non veg food too so dog food is the only option.

ur food analysis is good but i think we should follow our dog what he loves to eat,sometimes he ignores branded food and eats simple and grows well..!! so we need to follow our dog rather following analysis or brands..!!keep doing good work cheers.

If you follow your dog and feed everything he eats, it's not good for its health. It can't express its deficiencies or problems always, unless it had diarrhea or health upsets.

my pomeranian puppy who's just 2 months old did not like the taste of drools focus. He like pedigree. I asked his VET about his diet and he said this breed is very choosey about its meal. that's why he's doing like this. please share some videos over best veg meals for pomeranians.

Aapne drools ka economical aur premium dono food rakha( drools, n focus) but pedigree ka bas economical food hi rakha, pedigree pro nhi rakha, aisa kyu? Mujhe lagta h ki pedigree me commission kam h tabhi sb shop wale burai krte h.. mai personally pedigree pro recommend krunga, it is very helpful..

I give origin dog food from 3 years and my Doberman is super healthy but we only get it online I will prefer everyone to take origin you can get It of 2000 rs for 2kg.
