Professional streamers tend to be internet-culture savvy _and_ aren't among normies if they're still streaming after turning 22. Simply because: 1) Who's gonna still be hanging around online for hours every night, when everyone else in their class year are socializing with their coworkers in mandatory after-works, and soon enough getting married and starting a family? 2) Who's gonna continue streaming after they finished highschool (or their bachelor degree), when everyone else in their generation is outside partying? So who's still eligible to become a professional streamer? - introverts, as they're uncomfortable with socializing and partying irl - nerds with niche interests, like otakus, idols fans, fujos and h'ntai enthusiasts, who can only enjoy their culture online, since it's socially unacceptable to have such interests, especially as an adult. If you look at BL and fujo communities, there's a gigantic crowd of HS girls, then a tiny core of hard fujos past the 25 yo mark, simply because for most it's only a transitory phase to channel their fantasy about the other sex, until they find out what guys actually are.

Instead of the cold war thawwing in favor of humans preferring peace, they made the dissolution into canon. then, Instead of big boss stealing and warring with the ussr in the mid 90s, they changed it to him robbing and fighting "various CIS states". And they retconned zanzibarland having all of the world's nukes. And the energy crisis that OILIX and kio Marv resolved.

Just imagine him going through MGS2 saying, "I am Shalashaska! Also known as... The Guy Who Meows!"

Metal Gear's always been one of my favorite game series, not because of me liking it *as a game* all that much, but because it's both very serious and touches on some interesting themes while also being some of the goofiest shit out there. As someone with deep personal connections to the MGS saga, it's not surprising to see somebody else have it invade every aspect of their life. But it is very welcome, and Pomu has quickly become among my favorites because of it. This is so entertaining to watch.

As to how long it would take, I watched two Metal Gear superfans explain the whole of Metal Gear (while getting increasingly drunk) chronologically, and it took about 2.5 hours. And this was before Metal Gear Solid V had even come out.
