A small thought that sprouted in the minds of a few of us saw light and evolved to a magnanimous fête; 310 vocalists heeded our request through KCC Gulf Zone, enjoined under one roof, to sing & celebrate His Resurrection - together !
We are forever indebted to a lot of people who helped conceive ‘Qom - He is Risen’.

വളരെ നല്ല രീതിയിൽ പഴയ ഗാനത്തിന് ഒരു പോറൽ പോലും ഏൽക്കാതെ അതേപടി ഭംഗിയായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു . ഇത്രയും പേരെ ഒരുമിച്ച് train ചെയ്തു എടുക്കുക അത്ര. എളുപ്പമല്ല.. അച്ചൻ എന്തായാലും ഒരു പുലി തന്നെ...👍😊

Without any bluster of killing death, this song captures the full soul of rebirth, the cycles of the seasons, the acceptance of wounds, the full integration of the creator with the creation -- all while making us feel like we're standing in a garden at the break of dawn watching the fog lift and dew slip down blades of grass. Our spiritual calling is to return to the simple past while accepting the chaos we have created for ourselves. As beautiful as the song is, equally uplifting is to see the faces and expressions of the singers and instrumentalists. So much happiness, union and enjoyment. Our baby insists on this song pretty much every night :)

My dear people, yes, this is a liturgical song of the Syro Malabar Catholic church and they should have mentioned it in the credits. But you can't deny the fact that this is beautiful and God doesn't differentiate between people. Let us all enjoy this beautiful choir presentation with the appreciation that it deserves.

This is song from Tharangini's ( KJ Yesudas' Studio) released during the 80s. I remember the cassette at home even in 1988, so certainly the song might be slightly older. it is written by Father Abel (Kalabhavan) and composed by one ME Manuel. Song rights should be still with Tharangini
