The content seen in this video is for reference use only. Every engine/transmission will be unique in various ways. Please confirm the proper setup needed for your particular engine and transmission. I’m hoping to eventually be a one stop shop for most of your Fiero 3800 Installation and parts information. These 3800 installation videos will be broken down into different build segments so keep checking back for new videos.
This segment I will be changing the stock supercharger pulley for a 3.4 pulley using the ZZP Pulley puller. I will also be installing colder sparkplugs which are appropriate for the 3.4 pulley setup. Here are links to the parts used:

I hope you plan on putting headers on with that smaller pulley, otherwise you're looking at chipping pistons or getting severe knock. Good choice with the Autolite 104's.

from my experience... the alternator rests ABOVE the PS pump.... unless it needs to be configured this way to fit in the Fiero...

Question: After the engine is installed, how much hood clearance above the supercharger is there? is there enough room for the 1 inch low profile intercooler at zzp?

Thanks for checking in, hopefully soon. I was laid off last spring which put the brakes on the project and videos. I was in the middle of two Fiero engine swaps at the time and my garage was really congested. I barely had room to work let alone place a camera and a light in there. I'm back at it and almost finished a 3.4 swap now and once I get that Fiero out of the garage I'll have the space to start up again and get the 3800 videos flowing. The next 3800 video will be a fuel rail & valve cover conversion. Mostly edited and just have to film a few more parts. Then a misc parts install video which is mostly edited but I want to post the fuel rail video first. Then installing the engine onto the transmission. That one is edited but I need to film an intro and then it will be in line to post after the fuel rail and misc install videos. After that the videos will be caught up to where I'm actually at and I will have to film the next segments.
