Lived in Ainsdale for 22 years until 5 years ago - it was a lovely quiet, safe place to live. God help the residents who will be caught up in this nightmare.

I live in Southport... It's nothing like it used to be when I was a kid. This was a sleepy seaside town where the elderly came to retire and see out their days in peace, with a lovely safe community... Now, the elderly are rarely seen... The school opposite me had 6ft bearded "children" walking amongst the token white kid... Local residents have been threatened by the non-Brit kids, leading to visits to the school by the Police... Southport promenade looked like something from Afghanistan, with walking bin bags up and down the prom plus up and down the beach... Go into the likes of Aldi and you'll be lucky to hear any English, always foreign, and they are usually dragging several kids with them... Crime is rife, shoplifters just walk in to the likes of B+M with prams, load up and walk out the front door - zero security... 20 years ago you'd never see a plod car as none would be needed but now it's a regular thing along with the meat wagons and flying pigs... The MP - Damien Moore is AWOL, Scott Benton from up the road puts him to shame. Final note, when we were flooded with illegals from "Syria", they were given these payment cards, they all used them at Asda, clearing the shelves of top end items, the best quality foods, even things like £40 kettles etc (while me working 40+++ hours was bargain hunting) - these cards seemed to be limitless cash, one "Syrian" from Pakistan... ordered me to get a case of Moet off the top shelf for him, a fellow Brit pulled me to one side, knowing I was about to boil over and told me the same fella was ordering hm around too, so he walked away before he lost it - that sums it all up though, they see us as their slaves, their meal tickets to a FREE LUXURY RETIREMENT... And the Politicians don't give a hoot as they are pretty much all complicit...

What the decision makers in Southport don’t realise, or choose to ignore is. That people like myself and my wife, both in our 60s retired sometimes get up in a morning and say let’s have a day out in Southport. A 35 minute drive, we’d go for a nice walk, spot of lunch, browse the shops etc. we’d be putting money into the local economy helping to keep businesses going. Well if this goes ahead our days out to Southport will be stopping as I’m not walking around with 00s of unaccompanied unknown men. And there are plenty more couples like us. Southport will become a no go area for the likes of us, and businesses WILL close down. Perhaps all this should be factored in when decisions are made about housing these scroungers 🤬🤬

Pontins appeals to the working class people and it's the working class who are mostly affected by these illegals. Unlike individual, personally-run hotels in resort towns, people might forget over time which hotels participated in selling-out the UK but Pontins is harder to forget. If this does happen, it will be curtains for Pontins.

I remember staying in one of those two bed apartments 20 years ago, they are freezing cold the mattress was disgusting, had mould on the walls, luckily we could leave the next day. Better than a tent or car bored I guess. It’s so wrong our homeless aren’t offered these.

We holiday in the caravan at willowbank caravan park 3 to 4 times a year and loved the people, town, pier and boating lakes, we will find somewhere else this year as it doesn’t sound safe anymore, very sad
