You're definitely right the horse definitely chooses its owner but Ponies are not horses they share the same genus but they're not the same species

@@xssiduity you're right I'm just saying this is a pony in the video and many people think horses and ponies are the same thing they look similar and they behave similar but they're by definition different animals Ponies are generally smaller than horses but ponies and horses come in different sizes just like humans hence why there are Miniature Horses that toddlers can ride but horses and ponies are both great companions for people

I am not convinced! So many rabbits, budgies and guinea pigs have to suffer - sitting on/beside plastic stuff - any are so forgotten. So often parents do not ask: "what are the needs of the animal(s)" in first place...

I agree on kids having pets but not if the pets are being played roughly or leaving them lonely eventually, bored, neglected when the interest fades down, eventually they get rehoused so pets are not for kids with busy adults that cannot fill that void. We have 2 dogs,2 birds, & a hamster.

A friend lost her 16 yr old in a speeding drunk driver hitting a pedestrian...I dreamed of Ryan- "tell my Mom I 'm okay and taking care of animals who don't know they ve crossed...ie. " feeding, watering, grooming, walking, playing. They don't realize they don't need groomed anymore. But they are waiting for thier loved one or ones to come and get them. Tell Mom I'm fine. How do you relay that message and not come off as a nut case? I also was given message by Father in law for Mom...real embarassing for me...because I warned her and then used his words- names. There are bonds that develope between people and special animals. God instructed us to take care of them.

Hoffentlich darf das Pony auch dort bleiben und wird nicht wenn es zu klein zum bereiten ist ,abgegeben. Ponys dürfen ja oft leider nicht ihr ganzes Leben bei einer Familie bleiben. Das finde ich bei Pferdebesitzern so traurig.

I used to dream of having & riding a horse. Then I downgraded to a cow. Then it was anything I could ride. Now mostly due to physical limitations my dream is multiple horses etc. That is retired pasture ornaments I pay someone else to properly care for & babysit me with them. I'd have to win the lottery though. It's nice though to dream about being able to have one that can handle my weight & is so gentle/lazy. They don't mind if I use the fence to climb on & just basically sit there as they slowly walk around. Probably wouldn't actually happen even if I won a lottery I never remember to even play. But it's a nice dream.

That's why they should always be supervised & properly taught to handle a horse. Also it has to be the right one & life can be dangerous. All you can do is try to be careful. I mean my sister's cat Snowball used to follow me everywhere including my playpen & highchair. I could have been scratched & gotten a bad infection. But admittedly a horse/pony could potentially be a lot more dangerous. Like you said it's the best way to grow up. Especially when taught proper horsemanship. Now me on the other hand. I love horses but I haven't been around them except one time decades ago. Still will live them & would love to have a pasture full of comfy retired horse I pay someone who knows what they're doing. Because I'm pretty much guaranteed to do something very idiotic around them. I wish I could blame the fibromyalgia fog but I don't get that too often. So in other words I'd need more supervision than this wonderful little girl. Also I'm still a cat person. I love dogs, horses & most animals but I will always come back to cats. Normally I have on me or nearby. It's a rare time when they aren't right next to me. I have the feeling this lucky girl is going to be about the same but with horses. I sure hope she never gets badly hurt though.
