The operating principle of the skimmer is effective and simple. The surface tension of the water holds the debris on the surface for some time and it does not sink. When the filter pump is turned on, water is drawn in for filtration through a skimmer funnel, which draws off the top layer of water along with unsunken contaminants (dust, leaves, flies, bugs). Inside the intex 28000 skimmer there is a removable perforated filter bucket, which carries out initial cleaning of large debris, which will extend the service life of the pump and clogging of the filter element - cartridge or quartz sand.
