Thanks for posting this..👍👍 I've always seen the final match but never knew of this show. It's been fascinating to watch.

The consensus at this time already was that Efren was the greatest, despite the mentioned poll. After winning this competition Efren went on to win the biggest purse in pool history, $500k. He would then also continue to make history winning and dominating the Derby City Classic like no one else. In addition to those he would also move on to win over 20 championships and truly show who is the greatest, the GOAT. If there was any doubt in 2005, he proved it over and over. At this point we can say that he's not a legend just "in the Philippines" -- as was clearly prejudiced by the commentators -- but in the world.

Mike is one of the best commentators, choosing someone who talks a lot but knows what he’s doing makes this 10x even better to watch

First set Efren won 8 - 0 and second set Efren won 8 - 5 so Efren won 2 straight sets.

They just declared Mike as the king of the hill to beat without him joining the tournament and face the other tough hall of famers. While Efren works for it and beats all his opponents.

Man.....they got it right when they gave sigel the nickname " THE MOUTH ". Every time I listen to him talk.....my IQ goes down a couple of points.

This was a mistake by mike....he should have played a nr of games b4 the finals. What he was practicing is talking a lot not his mastery of the game to maintain his skill...the day came, his skill is already rusty. Good for him efren had errors too to a relatively easy shots in their caliber...if it hadnt...mike seigle would have been 0-0 in both sets.
