UR = under range (lower than the test range of that parameter) and OR = over range (higher...)

How often should I measure my pool?

For public pools in Germany there is a rule to test 3 times a day which is far too much for private pools. Itis hard to tellhow often one should test but if you run a public pool (hotel) then I would test in the morning and in the evening and whenever you have the feeling that the consumption of chemicals is that high, that checking during the day would make sense to be on the safe side. Private pool owners should test once a day.

Hello, I have another question. You measure 3.70 for Cl. Its a quite high value but it corresponds to my pool tests that show even 5.00 to 6.00 ppm of Chlorine. I wonder if the device uses a different scale since 0.6 to 1.2 ppm is sufficient Cl for a private Pool?

Hello Paul, thanks for commenting. I do not understand your question. The scale (DPD reagent) is the same. The device shows the content of chlorine in your water and not the "sufficient range". Please contact info@water-id.com so we can send you a training paper on pool water values.

Hi, is described in the user manual. OR = overrange (value higher than the measurement range), UR = Underrange (value lower than measurement range)

My device is al 2 times brokken beacause i have water in the device. So not for me...

Hi, PoolLab is "clipped" and "foamed" to be IP68 waterproof. The only way to enter water is through the battery compartment, if it is not sealed properly. Unnfortunately, some user only pull out the white strip without reading what is written on it "remove + screw". If white strip is only removed and screws are not tightened afterwars, water can leak inside through the battery compartment! Please send me your address to andreas.hock@water-id.com and I will send you a replacement unit free of charge. Once received, please make sure you not only remove the white strip but tightenly close both screws afterwards. I can promise you that you will have a IP68 waterproof PoolLab and a lot of pleasure with it.
