This video is heavenly.. thank you for sharing! I've experienced these types of trips in the Keys before and it inspired and motivated me to build a perfect boat for my family and I to get out and explore more of the Keys like this.. I attempted to have a 45ft hydrofoiling power cat built in South Africa but the build went sideways. Long story short, years later, and a mountain of frustration, I at least have the boat here in Ft Lauderdale but it's unfinished. I've been so frustrated with the entire process.. it's just been sitting, but watching videos like this is bringing back the fire to get it done and get back out on the water to enjoy moments like these again! Thank you!!

What a lovely little adventure!!! I love when you guys go South to Key West and the Dry Tortugas as it's just such an amazing area, one that you guys show off very well! I hope you didn't feel too bad letting that Yellowtail slip over the side and back to freedom, I've done the very same thing by accident while trying to gently handle a fish making sure it was within the slot size only to have it give an unexpected wriggle, and away it goes!! I know I generally say this every comment but, that's because I believe it so, thank-you for allowing us to tag along on one of your adventures, your videography as always is World class and you are always positive, even when the situation would clearly call for a few choice words. You never let those situations get to you, or wear you down, you just persevere and whether the day improves or not you always show us what's real because that's the truth. So thanks for allowing us a few minutes inside your World, I believe it inspires people to get outside and make their own adventures, I know this because you inspire me to get outside and have some fun!!! Magnificent’ is the best word that describes this video. Key West, the Dry Tortugas, beaches and sandbars, boat wrecks and eating your catch in town… wow! Have to say the videography, music and upbeat conversation nailed the whole reason for this destination. And all the while you are both giving sound advice on navigation, fishing and mooring. The spring’line amidships is a fine tip worth remembering. You two are simply amazing! Thank you for this escape. I downloaded the Savvy Navvy app’ already… totally worth having. 🙏🏻

Aloha Clay and Steph, another nice video. Gave me some flash backs of Loggerhead Key. I was stationed there in 84-85 when I was in the Coast Guard, was a lighthouse keeper. Lived on that island for a year and as Jimmy Buffett would say, oh the stories we could tell, lol. Needless to say it was one of the best years of my life. Right now I am in the works of getting ready to move to Marathon in the next few months, gonna buy me a Trawler and live in Boot Key Harbor the rest of my days. If all goes well, I hoping to make a trip back out to Loggerhead Key for a 40 year reunion once i get settled in. Maybe I'll see you out on the reef sometime.

Bro I thought you lived in key west. I moved to Florida exactly 2 years ago from Seattle and I watched your videos every day a month before we came here. I bought some avail shirts and you hyped me up. We live in palmetto now but I went to island morada a month ago for the first time and we took the boat out to alligator reef and was blown away. Didnt know you lived there, when we come down next month for the weekend ill be on the lookout for you and forsure be rocking my avail long sleeves!

We took our boat to Key West a couple weeks ago but ran into some storms and never made it to the west side, I know it takes time to learn your way around the Keys, hope we can find some of those beautiful spots!

Love your Key West episodes. Fished many times on reef berween Vestal Shoals and Cosgrove. Old technology, Ross paper scratcher bottom machine , Si-Tex Loran C and fishing with white bucktail with glow worm. Muttons, Black Grouper galore. For dinner you cannot beat El Siboney on Catherine Street. You and Stephanie would love their delicious Cuban cuisine.

Great video I’m just like you even when fishing isn’t great some of my favorite things to do on a boat is cruise around and explore new places and key west is a great place to do it one of my favorite places down there. I’d like to see y’all go a little north and do a video in palm beach like peanut island and sailfish marina and all that.

I took my boat to the tortugas towards the end of May, it was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t believe I was still in Florida! Water was amazing, and I’ve never seen the stars as vivid as they were… The Rhodan was a must! When I was at loggerhead key, I watched the ranger chase away a guy who was anchored on the beach. Then I took my boat right to his spot and deployed the Rhodan!

I love the way you get up early and leave early in dark. I love going out in early morning.

I love the yellowtail snapper my wife and my kids we went fishing in the keys and we caught a bunch of yellowtail and they were so good, after the guy fillet them up we took them to a restaurant in walking distance and they cook them up for us and they were excellent. We also caught a grouper it was the first day of the grouper season and we caught a nice one which he was excellent as well.

Another great video in the never-ending series of enjoyment. Still wondering why you didn't opt for a jack plate on the pathfinder. I have one on my 2023 Whaler and it sure provides a lot of extra versatility for maneuvering in shallow and sketchy water. Keep up the videos. Maybe someday you'll venture up to the pristine clear waters of the Great Lakes and see how us Northerners enjoy our boats.
