I am so glad to hear this! I was going to write before seeing your comment: "You are filming this, instead of helping out? Are you going to leave that cub all by himself there: he needs to be rescued!" So so glad no animals were hurt, and this is not for real, although I am sure terrible things such as this one must happen in the wild... : (

For years this publisher has been notorious for uploading FAKES which are ENTIRELY comprised of clips of the videos filmed by OTHER uploaders. He should call himself "Thief Africa," and set up "Video Thieves' Union on the Web" along with other thieves on the Internet.

Oh please, we shoot a couple of these things every year in Montana. Bears will rip your face off and feast on you alive if they get a chance.

@@chamade166 Last time I was in Montana the people I met really appreciated and liked the wildlife there. If you think bears should be shot perhaps you should move to Los Angeles, I'll gladly swap places with you. BTW, I have a friend who is an experienced Alaskan guide. He's never had to shoot bear with his Glock 20.

Linda, Under random conditions, wild animals finding food can get themselves into troubles. Even a mighty bear is not exempt from this risk. If you see a bear got stuck or something similar, make sure you go help the poor bear.

The movie is called 'The Bear." (1988?) It was one of my favorite movies growing up. I saw it again a couple years ago and it has aged well. Great film!

At first I thought this was an actual story of what happened to the mama bear and her cub. However, it does look like it's from an edited movie. That's not to say that such mishaps don't happen in the animal kingdom. It happens all the time in nature.
