There's also blocks that restore HP and BP, making this just infinite money. Those blocks are also in the Japanese version along with the unreleased Chinese prototype, they're more common in the remake too

The remake also has heal blocks that restores full hp and bp, so this is basically infinite money if you have the patience The Japanese GBA version, which came after the US, Luigi loses 2hp per hit

Quite a few things were changed for the Japanese version. - Some graphics were changed. - Heart blocks were added to the game. - Items dropped by enemies and bosses are different. - The effects of some badges were changed. These are few of the diffeences, the Cutting Room Floor goes more in depth on the changes.

In the remake however you can just perform it next to a heart block and profit. No more wasting money on mushrooms, this is the REAL infinite money glitch.

People say you can’t make money doing this anymore, but they forget one thing… Health blocks are free. Just go to a health block and farm coins until you can’t anymore, hit the block, and repeat. Don’t need to use mushrooms!

The thing is, you actually won't profit less. In the remake they heavily beefed up Mario and Luigi's over all health gain and the enemy damage. So it evens out at the end!

Fun fact: In the remake it's easier to farm since there are HP blocks all over the map. You can do this indefinitely without having to buy mushrooms

Did you know that in Sonic Advance Amy's rail grinding animation has her seating on the rail with her legs between the rail while grinding and that fact that she can do this in Neo Green Hill Zone, Ice Mountain Zone and Angel Island Zone must be really painful for her "special stage ring"

Like I commented in the last video, you can actually do it infinitely in the remake with one of the healing blocks that fully restore HP and BP to full. There's one near most boss fights in the game, including one at the end of the woods if you want the nearest one story progression-wise
