@@Mike4_friends There is no feedback in industrial electric feeders because the speed of gear rotation is too fast, and the signal from the photoelectric switch cannot be collected. If the transmission is done accurately enough, even without feedback correction, the error of position deviation will still be within the allowable range of the machine.

There are several mechanical feeders that are from early 50s and are without any tape/pockets position control still used today. Yamaha, DIMA, Siemens Siplace and many others .....

@@Mike4_friends You need to write complex programs to control this encoding motor and make it rotate at the angle you need. If it is a worm drive, then a relay can be used to control the motor to rotate only one revolution at a time. And the worm is thinner than the bevel gear.
