Күн бұрынI have loved convertibles for a long time and I just bought a 2014 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible in Florida (USA). Drop top driving in a convertible is the ultimate driving experience for driving enthusiasts and the Volkswagen Beetle is an worldwide icon...so combining these two is a win-win.

It’s a pretty basic one from 1999, I’m considering replacing it with a Z4 actually for a little more comfort, power and luxury.

I was considering a mini also but the beetle was a bit bigger which has been helpful

Used to drive a new Beetle and the convertible looks nice. Recently owned a E93 335i DCT with sport exhaust. Thats one you should try. Even on colder days driving with top down is possible.

Did you ever consider any other convertibles made by VW, like the Eos?

Yeah I did actually! But the Eos had lower reliability ratings and the retractable hard top is more complicated and prone to more expensive issues so I avoided that

@@Kerleem Especially in the US. My friend had it and it was cool then and it is still cool today. One of those cars that belongs to category of The Classics.
