For non Telangana and AP brothers... who are wondering what this is..., This is a sweet named “pootha rekulu” which translates to “coated foils” in English. As you could see they are coating the batter on the pot and foil is coming out. That watery batter is made of rice flour. After foils are collected they are folded and while folding sugar or jaggery or some dry fruit powder is sprinkled. This sweet is a speciality of Godavari districts of AP state. It’s a very tasty sweet. One can get it from sweetshops in AP and Telangana. Or you can buy online by typing “pootharekulu online buy”.
