Not alot of these songs managed to make it to Pop'n Music Sunny Park, like Sousei no Aquarion, Gekkouka, and Zankoko na tenshi no thesis

Why were the genres for the licensed songs removed from the banners at the time? Sometimes it makes it easier to know where the song came from. Or it kind of fits with the theme of the song and makes it more fun.

Yes, this was back when pop'n music commissioned the original singers sometimes to reperform the song for the covers (Other examples in this mix include Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis, performed by Yoko Takahashi, and Honoo no Kinnikuman, performed by Akira Kushida).
