@@wackyclock yeah I just don't want to make a song and get a copyright claim... :( would be sooo annoying, I'm not so worried about the "Resident Evil" type sample, because its so short and you don't notice... it's more if I sample like another pop artist voice like Ariana... I mean everyone can hear its Ariana even though it's cuttet... so It would be pretty easy to copyright strike if Ariana would like to do that right or... ??

@@arziva1615 well it doesn't look like pop was affected much for the sample.. like jpegmafia sampled Travis scott on williamsburg and you can tell it's trav. as long as you edit the sample, you should be good. I get the concern, I'm kinda self-conscious whenever i decide not to pitch a sample and leave it as is but it sounds better that way sometimes.
