cant argue with that but in term of prizepool and production value, dota is way higher. dota2 have been using AR since 2016

@JustGabThings prizepools are fancy and all but only a small fraction benefits from that. Riot can eclipse that if they really wanted. (remember that fans have clamored for crowdsourcing prizepool from riot for years, and only implemented last couple of years and even so only a very mere fraction). Heck I think they can easily reach it if the Worlds Pass sales got added in the pool, not the championship khazix skin alone. (I for one didn't purchase championship kha'zix and readily bought Worlds pass. Add another fact that some region's which arent handled by Riot directly are not contributing to the pool, like Garena for example. Also the conundrum with Prizepool driven income from pros, is that it requires you to win. Your average DOTA pro earns a whole lot less than your average League player. Why? Salaries are bigger, and you dont even have to qualify for tournaments to earn those. Let's not forget, DOTA's prizepool are majorly crowdsourced, they do not really come from DOTA at all. So if you ask me, a random player, if I care about 6 person getting a couple more millions than me getting quality content like this? Heck I'd want content like this.

The teams that wins the championship get there own skin and all the money from the sale of skins is for the winning team so that adds to prizepool.

In October 2018, overwatch is in ranked 7 of all games while dota 2 is ranked 11, but.... hots is ranked 19. Its funny how hots has been dropping the heat so fast, it's just released 3 years and its was a blizzard game lol.

Matt Mourgues It depends on what type of music you like. Have you listened to her EP? Some of those songs are good too and theres some different styles. Like Teenager in Love is 50’s inspired.

@@AsiansDownUnder Real talk here though... why would Valve make Kpop skins for a game like Dota 2? It doesn't fit with the game's universe and Valve didn't have its revenues fall by 21% in 2017 (unlike Riot). If they were to produce any music it would be anything but Kpop - maybe orchestral or something to that effect. Furthermore, Dota fans aren't generally into Kpop and Korea is not a big Dota market.

@@thevannmann Thanks for your real talk input and we agree with you. If only Dota was big in Korea. If we think about it, Korea is pretty big on esports. I wonder why Koreans never got into the Dota Pro scene? Back to the videos, I believe Dota have fan submitted videos every year which are pretty good. But it would nice if there was an actual music video from Valve, if we go with orchestral then it should feel epic.

That takes time and effort on their part.
