There's just one problem though: The two churches are split on the issue of the ordination of women. The Catholic Church will never ordain women, and the Church of England will never stop ordaining women.

Christian unity is a much vaunted goal. Apparently. It will never happen because each sect seeks to distance itself from those mired in scandal in order, chiefly, to protect income. The divided church works better, I think that the top people, in candour, might say.

Yup if u does this it will only create an ideology in the non split catholic churches that ordaining women is permissible.... And what would the orthodox catholic think about this.... The problem is that monotheists are always squabbling and have since jews decided there was only one God. Anglicanism is less hung up on details such as how Chrit is present in the Eucharist and content with He is and leaving it a mystery like the Orthodox. The best is to treat each other as brothers and sisters in the faith. if you don't non-Christians will rightly say, "Look at you preaching forgiveness, redemption, beginning, and you can't even get your act together so why should we believe you hypocrites?" How about your two sides getting me compensated, in all ways, for the scandalous way I and my family was treated because of your "scandalous divisions!" Your "Law" although apparently not based on artificial Intelligence or machine structure, has about as much human "empathy or conscience " or even ability, for a woman like me! And that is one who has given and worked hard completely, all my life! At the very least when my x husband dies make sure his Pension which he was gifted with by my man /men Lawyers, (one who forced me to sign papers- there is a legal term for such an action!), while I was denied everything, goes to me as it should, so that I can see and visit and help his family etc., okay!
