Jack Mercer's final role was actually Popeye again in the opening of the live action movie with Robin Williams.

Fun fact: Popeye the Sailor Meets Sindbad the Sailor was nominated for the 1936 Academy Award for Best Animated Short, but lost to the Walt Disney's Silly Symphony short, The Country Cousin.

I remember that short. Popeye is one of the best cartoons from the Golden Age of Animation back then. Cool review, Mr. Terry.

It was the first Popeye cartoon I had seen since I was very young. And also the first video I saw here when I first discovered the site in 2007.
