One of the things that I love about their performance is Hoshi screaming because it makes everyone more energetic.

But Dino, Jun and The8 have their own color and skills that make them different to each others. All of Seventeen are seriously amazing dancers. Not a single member is lacking and their synchronicity is pure perfection. ‘Don’t wanna cry’ is what really drew me in (besides ‘pretty you’ with Joshua becoming an instant meme king) because their movements were so unbelievably precise and the choreo is so difficult with all the isolations and they absolutely killed it and made it look so easy 😭 I really love that Seventeen is getting so much love and attention right now! They absolutely have earned and deserved it! Seriously am so proud of all of them! Also, Woozi continues to slayyy with all the songs he’s composed/produced/written for them. His mind is genius. I really want him and Suga to collaborate since theyre both such amazing and well respected composers. Plus they look like brothers and i want to see them interact more!

As a baby carat, i truly love hoshi and I admire his dancing and energy a lot. But I really wish there was equal treatment towards Dino, whom is a main dancer in Seventeen as well. I find judging based on group choreographies kinda unfair. Whoever gets more and better spotlights, catch attentions more obviously. So if one of main dancers doesn’t have as much spotlights as the other members, he easily gets overlooked and ngl It’s so freaking sad

Theres two main dancers in Seventeen😭. Hoshi is amazing and deserves all his flowers but people overlook Dino all the time bc he focuses on control rather than energy. If Hoshi is the Sun Dino is like a black hole. They have very different styles and Hoshi catches your eye with his power and fluidity, while Dino draws your focus to him with his control and charisma. (I also have stuff to say abt Jun and The8 bc 😍 but this is about the main dancers.) I feel like the host wanted a Hoshi focused video but didnt want to outright make once bc they never mentioned that there was more than one main dancer. (Horangdans are really disappointing in this comment section bc if they had said 'Oh (a different member) is the main dancer' and had not been corrected you'd be up in arms but when other people call out the fact that the host never mentioned that there were two main dancers all of a sudden they're akgaes and trying to take away from Hoshi??? No one had an issue with Hoshi being praised, theyre upset bc the video creator never actually gave any information about the main dancerS and clearly tailored this video with only Hoshi in mind (and used people who are clearly familiar with SVT) which is disingenuous. the replies saying they dont have positions lmfao, they actually do have it. ive been here since 2017 and theyre openly saying it. the members who have main positions: scoups and vernon - main rappers hoshi and dino - main dancers dk and seungkwan - main vocalists (which they still say a lot these past months bc they are! which means the other main positions are confirmed too.) the rest are lead positions btw no sub.

Their stage presence - singing and dancing, are way, way up there, and there’s nothing that can convince me otherwise. But the thing with Hoshi is, I am also saying this in other videos related to him being the Performance leader, he just doesn’t dance or memorize the routine. He’s all out! When the routine says raise your arm like this or twist your foot like that, he does it no matter if he’s just practicing or already performing on a stage. He’s very detailed, very fluid. If you try to watch their dance videos and dissect them bit by bit or watch the placement of their hands or feet, you’ll immediately say, **_”oh yeah, Hoshi is on another level”._** The Performance Unit, actually, is very fine. While Hoshi is a very detailed and fluid dancer, Dino is very powerful. His passion for dancing oozes every time. Minghao is athletic and very flexible. And Jun is an aesthetic, expressive dancer. I love that four of them are all the same but different.*
