It’s kind of dumb that it doesn’t have an on/off switch. Having to plug and unplug all the time would be really inconvenient.

This is the kind of thing you keep in the cabinet and get out every once in a while. I own a waffle iron that's the same way. I can't say I ever cared about unplugging it.
