Narcis Cezar Velcea nonsense poppin c had no particular advantage when you pop you hit on beat and that doesnt change, so once the song starts you establish a rhyrhm to the beat. very simple.

You have many reasons all popping songs have a repetition of rhythm and the dancers should know

You kinda do know there is gonna be something but you cant tell what exactly it is. So yeah basically you prepare to do some beat killing but it might still not be accurate because the music plays more or less notes.

@@phanjacky2418 it is obvious that not all of them are the same but globally if it is given that the rhythm has a repetitive pattern and that is how rap, hiphop, funk and G-funk beats are generally performed. and the dancers know how to read that part of the songs. and especially the dancers who have been competing for a long time, and from what I see popin c knew the song and green also knows it at least the 1st round and in the 2nd I think not but the song had no changes it was quite flat, I think That green in this competition was more carefree and was more aware of performing tricks than musicalizing his movements, which is what poppin c did without neglecting that the 2 round of popin C maintained a good level regularity.

@@marcosgimenez2369 well im just talking about the little changes. Which sometimes only happen once or twice per song. Again those things happen at very specific times that any good popper knows but they might not know how specifically this change is done. So yeah a lot of times they can just start with something random and then react super fast to act it out for maybe 70 percent of it. But someone who actually knows the song really well will hit it fully.

I agree with you poppin C won the final well, I like the style of green but you do not have to keep your mind closed like several of the fan comments that put you looking for excuses of why I lost green ... poppin C these last years To evolved muchisimo and it is bringing fruits to him all that evolution that has had.

I agree, Greenteck was very chill while Poppin C showed up and battled nicely. I love Greenteck more than the next guy, I felt more of a "presence" from Poppin C. He has improved drastically over these past few years.

i cant agree with you poppin c just had more grove then green and was just feeling the song way more and being really original with his moves, first round poppin c won easy second round was close but poppin c still did better

William Leprohon Watters art is subjective. Groove? No I think C put his moves together very nicely, obviously has a lot of songs memorized, but natural groove shows in the transitions. Greens transitions show that his groove is under all of his movements and ideas. I couldn't disagree more with that, to me its moves vs groove and moves. Green had both.

JRock Nelson i could see where you coming from but dance is a very subjective matter with a lot of politics so its really hard to say someone is right over evryone else so ill leave you to your opinion

While I agree with you J-Rock, and my preference would be for Greenteck in these rounds. I think you can give it to Popping C because he just execute everything he set out to do. He hit all the karaoke moments he knew in the songs and they were well timed. So I think in a scenario like that you can pat em on the back, say you accomplished every thing you set out to do in the beginning of the round and say you win this battle. But to dive a little deeper. Tell me if you agree. Overall stylistically, Popping C is curious to me. When he's just getting down he does a lot these strong looking movements because his shoulders are in like a tense (strong man) position. So it rarely looks gracefully when doing things, although he's a coordinated guy. I think I prefer the moments when he does recognizable style moves. Like in the 2nd round with his scarecrows and one-legged neck-o-flex

Greentek only lost cause he didn't know the songs like Poppin C did. Popping scene isn't about musicality anymore - it's about memorization. That's why the battle scene is skewed and unfair. It's not about dancing. It's about studying and listening to hours of music. A seasoned dancer could easily lose to an up and coming dancer simply because the newer dancer "freaked more beats". It's dumb.

Your comment sounds to me fan comment, poppin C won well was better in the final. And if he thinks that a dancer is going to dance badly in a final after he passes all the rounds if that happens to him, he definitely has to retire.
