Well the problem is Hoan has been getting stale. He's relying on his usual karaoke style and dancing to the beat, and isn't leveling up. Greenteck is leveling up, a lot of other guys are leveling up. Hoan keeps doing the same old thing different day right now. He's gotta inject some real groove and funk and get down. Too much resetting and showing technique to this sound and "look at what I do to this sound." It's all technically great and still sick, but compared to greenteck it just looks forced and corny. Him spinning around twice in the first round was a very karaoke and corny way to act like you're vibing with that song. That's just an example. People are calling it out for a reason. Dude is on another level of technique and musicality, just needs to incorporate it more and let go. Like someone said "karaoke vs. real signing." It's pretty obvious the difference here

People read too much into "battle tactic beef" etc. like green calling hoan out on no legs and all upper body, and karaoke popping. I mean its got some truth to it but u can call any popper out for anything, none of them are perfect. People could check out greens instagram for example and see that he has pics with hoan etc and i bet if u asked green what he thought of hoan as a popper he has a very high opinion of him, as a person too i bet. Battles are battles, people analyse it as if its serious

@Marsmallow, The fuck you on about. Greenteck destroyed Hoan there. The judges were unfair coz Greenteck was aggressive and Judges are just looking for a peaceful battle. Hoan was sloppy as hell in that battle and Green showed him levels bruv. Green got cheated bad there. Now, the different judges see the credibility and the realness of Greenteck style so he obviously won.

Why do you put JayGee as an example if Jaygee is not a bar to measure a weight opponent in this tournament thinking about the dancers they were, even for me he was one of the weakest since I was kei, nelson, kid boogie, kite and They are all over Jaygee. and originality is in making new movements, not making a sequence of movements that are performed in all battles, originality is in interpreting and musicalizing showing new movements to surprise and not become predictable what is much harder to do more when they are dancers They take many years.

Agree. Hoan has always been boring to me. He's amazing, and one of the best obviously, but I never really felt him. It's too much focus on beat killing and the sort of karake and not enough groove and feeling. Green has been taking all the foundation and basics, and just grooving and popping. That's why he always brings something new and original. He has about every style at his disposal for him to inject his own style into. Plus you can tell he actually dances with the music and doesn't dance to it. Hoan dances to the music and goes for the "oh shit look what I did to this sound or this part of the song." It's really good and looks badass, but It's very hollow. That's why when you see him against a guy like greeteck, it becomes exposed and you see the problem. Because usually Hoan is just out popping and smoking everyone else because he is on a different level of technicality and musicality.

As we can see even the crowd is not in his pocket like back the summer dance forever, everyone knows what he's gonna do next (like you said, he dances to the music while Green dances with it) I'm a huge fan of Hoan so it's very disappointing to see the guy who gives me the motivation to train become just a beatkiller with a bunch of random movements.

H.K Exactly. Hoan was always a beast and respect him as one of the best. But like you said, it's kind of sad seeing him stick to his same set of moves and ideas. It has become stale. He needs to go to the lab and experiment more I feel and come back with a new flavor. Hopefully this battle re inspires him.
