Yea. A little. Because if you hear her real voice, it's not as high pitched. But yea. She definitely toned it down a lot. Hopefully she breaks out of it gradually in the next few albums now that Titanic is gone. While the robot thing was entertaining I'm ready to see the real her come out.

@mayamustdie No it isn't. Look up Poppy out of character. Her voice is a lot deeper. She also talks a lot more organically in real life. Here she is still being very vague like the Poppy character always is. It's just that it's not as pronounced.

i can see that she is trying her best to be her own self now 😊 not being that “mars argo persona” she was forced to do by titanic. but that she is obviously having a hard time with regard to her voice particulary that high-pitched speaking tone which isn’t apparently her original tone based on her videos before.

This album came out right as I am trying to change my life. And now I hear her say things that alludes to this album being the result of her having to "burn things down and start over." I have liked poppy for a couple years now, starting with Lowlife. I am usually into rock/metal etc. Something about Poppy caught my attention. This newest album is amazing.
