Poppy - Our 9 week old brindle boxer puppy

This is Poppy - she's a 9 week old brindle boxer puppy and the silver lining to all our birthday plans going wrong. (You can read more about Poppy here: www.goingonanadventure.co.uk/...) I wanted to film Poppy, mainly so we can remember just how cute and tiny she was, I'll do another update in a week or two :)

There is nothing better then a boxer dog for a family! I have had boxers since I was a little girl and have had them for my own children. They too have now done the same. Beautiful video.🥰

I pick my boxer boy strider up on the 25th October after looseing my boxer Alfie last year this reminded me so much off how happy he was as a puppy he lived till 12 but passed due too cancer he is missed so much everyday his ashes now sits in our sitting room and a tree we planted for him is blooming I the garden he was loved unconditionally and so will strider be when he arrives next week bless you for sharing this video how happy beautiful poppy is ❤

I'm sorry you lost Alfie - 12 is a good age for a boxer isn't it. We lost our first, Thomas, when he was just 7 from lymphoma. Good luck with Strider! Let me know how you get on! X

Adorable. Had boxers all my life. Love all dogs, but this breed is my fav. Having a good time with the human kids.

I have a brindle boxer called Misty, she's 1.5 years old and has similar markings to your Poppy! My last boxer was a red/white called poppy, boxers are just the best!! Many fun years ahead for you and your family 😄

Ah we had a brindle boy called Thomas before Poppy but he died young. It's been a few years between them but we're loving having a puppy again! They are absolutely thr best breed x

We're going on an adventure He is 3. I also have a flashy fawn female, Minnie... and my first big boy,Biscuit dies about 2 years ago. My brother as a sealed brindle and our dad had 4 boxers in a row til he died.

I just adopted a 6 year old female boxer brindle. I don't have any pics or video or her when she was a puppy. So it's nice to see this video of a puppy :)

Just rescuced a stray boxer mix pup(we found him). If the vet is right Indigo should be 9 w by now. He definitely looks a lot like your Poppy, so I be he is mostly boxer

I am getting a tiger stripe brindle Boxer puppy....Nov 29 TH.....I am excited and your baby Poppy is a bundle of cuteness...My baby will be called Gretta...Enjoy and thank you for your video...!

She looks a lot like my "Lucy" with the exception of the long tail. Boxers are the best breed IMHO. I've had four. They are a big part of the family. "Cheers" as you Brits say. 😄

We've got used to them having long tails now - it felt strange when we first had one with a tail but I love it now!

@@ColetteB Our previous Boxers had cropped ears. It took me awhile to get used to the natural/floppy ones. I still prefer the docked tails. Everyone has different likes and dislikes I guess. Enjoy Poppy, she looks like a Sweety. 😁

Yes, it's been illegal to dock in the UK for a good ten years or so now x

@@kaydenpat All our pups were docked growing up. Thomas (who was born in 2009) was our first with a tail. It has taken ages to get used to it but I see it as normal now.

Poppy is our second boxer and I grew up with them as a kid. They are just gorgeous dogs.

I have a 8week old boxer girl and i just wanted to ask how long before she stopped trying to go for kids feet and toes?

I can't remember but not too long - you'll just suddenly realise she has stopped! Keeping socks and slippers / shoes on helps. Poppy is 7 months today and she hasn't done it in ages xx

I had a girl, Penny, and I loved your so.. One of the best girls ever. But beware and all that cuteness is a digger, a cheer, a rowdy little lady 💗🌸lol .. You will see you will see ha ha I absolutely love my girl so I have a name for her when she was bad instead of Penny I called her Penelope her alter ego I subscribed I will be watching your little girl from now on. Sadly mine had to go to live with friends because I moved unexpectedly. She’s fine but I miss her so much

Yes she's definitely a digger already and it's driving me mad 😂 I don't remember our last one doing the same! She's going to be a monkey!
