Episode 471 - Poppy, Part 1 (11/12/20)
"For the 57th anniversary of the JFK assassination, we're unlocking the first installment of our George H.W. Bush series.
The first part of our in-depth look into the life and career of George H.W. Bush. Covering the many generations of Bush family history in the United States, his father’s business dealings with Nazi Germany, H.W.’s military career and education at Yale, and the intricate web of intelligence, finance, and industrial interests surrounding him that all point to one day: November 22, 1963."

14:20 the saddest part of this to me is that, in many Native American beliefs, a person buried disconnected from their head wanders blind and can't find their way into the afterlife until reunited. This isn't just disgustingly disrespectful of Geronimo, but distinctly sacrilegious, and while I may be an athiest and don't believe in an afterlife, I do believe in respecting the beliefs of others ( within the bounds they don't harm, enslave or exploit others).

Digging up the remains of anyone is macabre enough. But the sons of the American Elite digging up the bones of one of the greatest Native American heroes, to do fratboy shit, is extra perverse specially for how banal it is. That they aren’t using his skull to contact Moloch, but to jerk off onto it only for mockery somehow makes things double evil to me. Do that for no purpose is the definition of the banality of evil to me, I can’t explain it. Gives me more chills than any bullshit. I would prefer that they were summoning demons, like that at least I can understand and serve a purpose. Life is always darker than what any fiction or conspiracy theory can cook up. Ugh…

Indeed, likely the point of it grotesquely, and speaking of, not that anyone here needs reminding, but I think Mt.Rushmore speaks well to such intentional disrespect, in addition to reminding us the palimpsest of history reified by such monuments to thieves; the US "treaty" with the Sioux in the Black Hills immediately reneged upon discovering gold there of course, shocker, along with constructing a literal façade over that history with good 'ol Mt.Rushmore, attempting to transform in our minds the demonic arcons of our past into benevolent deities. On a different (literal) note, enjoy the song Geronimo by Thank You Scientist. Actually, shit, I almost forgot, the song Little Snakes by Protest the Hero is about exactly what I was talking about with Mt.Rushmore and such, if anyone likes unnecessarily complicated prog metal shit.

Bush was likely an agent but not an officer of the CIA. It is an important but rarely noted distinction. An officer is an employee of the CIA. An agent is someone an officer has recruited for a task or series of tasks. They can be anything from a taxi driver in a foreign country to an oil executive in Texas. They provide services of some kind. Bush could have been able to provide inside information about goings on in the Middle East and Caribbean through his oil interests, Joseph P. Trentos book Prelude to Terror makes the case that he provided offshore oil platforms for use by the CIA for spying on Cuba and perhaps even for CIA-trained Cuban exiles to launch attacks from - one was 'lost' in a storm with no evidence and the insurance company paid out without any investigation. An agent may work out of ideology, or for money, or for an oil executive inside information they could use.

The big conspiracy is the comingling of intelligence with business interests. It is a bit meandering and lacking focus but Joseph Trentos book Prelude to Terror is a good read about this.
@charlesandrews2360
@charlesandrews2360 2 жыл бұрын
Especially when you consider that a lot of those "business interests" involved organized crime going back to Prohibition era with the Caribbean smuggling routes into the 1950s with massive investments in Cuban gambling. On the very day that Kennedy finally greenlit the Bay of Pigs, Bobby Kennedy had Carlos Marcello, the powerful mob boss of New Orleans, kidnapped and dropped into Guatemala. The relationship between intelligence and "business interests" has been very close for a very long time.

What if Oswald was an intelligence agent, remember that in the Marines he received training for radar operation and Russian language - and then promptly left to go to the USSR. Was this a crash program? Was he sent in as a double agent, to feed them false information and come back with the real goods? After he had completed that job and returned to the USA, with a Russian wife whose uncle was high up in Soviet intelligence btw, did Navy Intelligence hand him over to the FBI to continue to work as an agent? Did the FBI send him to infiltrate pro-Castro groups? Did he perhaps come to genuinely believe in the Cuban cause? Desiring to cover up that they created Oswald and set him on his path would explain their desire to cover up so much.
