ill be honest you do SOOOO much work for your content for twitch and youtube. Idk if you have like a ton of editors and help but you are putting in HELLA work, and its admirable. Few content creators produce as much good quality content as much and as consistantly as you. You lowkey deserve like 20x the viewership. I only recently in the last year or so started watching but ive been making a lot of progress through the backlog and its really evident how much better the content and editing has gotten over the last like 2 years. Keep on keeping on.

I watched different playthroughs of this chapter like 4 times already but it always hits different when you play. The energy and comedy you bring to your videos and streams always bring me joy

About that Huggy TV screen moment: If you stand further away from the monitor you can see his whole body come and, and you can literally run away from him until he catches up. Almost every channel I've watched stand so close to the screen. AstralSpiff was standing further back if you want to see how that looks.

the jump in overall quality between chapter 2 and 3 is pretty insane. the developers and story writer did a great job on this chapter

I still remember that battery room and an hour long struggle to pass that and kill catnap on stream. It was absolutely hilarious and frustrating.

Fun Fact:- During the livestream, Insym died 26 times and I opened a new(active) chrome tab with his stream for each death. It ended up using more than 5 GB of RAM, CPU Temps went upto 85-90℃. Closing all the tabs(individually) took nearly 2 minutes (around 3-5 secs for each tab). Conclusion:- Don't try this at home (or with Opera).

I feel that the only reason chapter 3 is as graphic as it is is to clear their name of being a kids game

Part of my issues with Chapter 3 from watching others play is the consistency of the Red Smoke. Sometimes it straight up kills you immediately, sometimes it slows you down and eventually kills you, and sometimes it just drives you insane. If I hadn't watched someone else play this first and jumped right in, I'd always be avoiding the Red Smoke because I'd have no idea what was considered safe. And then finding one instance where it would be ok would prompt me to trying every time which would lead to me dying a lot and resetting a bunch, which would get annoying fast. They should have had different colors of smoke, labelling by color which one does what. So maybe Red Smoke gives you nightmares/makes you hallucinate, Green Smoke outright kills you, and Blue Smoke slows you and kills you if you linger too long.

Ollie is either another toy like a Smiling Critter or the Prototype. Based on the second to last tape he's capable of mimicking voices. I think we're playing as Richie since he's been mentioned in every chapter or Stella.

In defence of Insym - I encountered SO MANY bugs (all soft-blocking - including managing to trap Miss Delight on the scenery, enabling me to complete that sequence in peace, haha). I really hope a patch comes out soon because if it can be smoothed out it will be by far the best of the three chapters. Just feels like compared to Chapters 1 and 2, this one needed a lot more testing before launch, and I know it was originally delayed due to QA as well. Maybe another month would have done it. P.S. I hope Kissy is ok :(

One of the tapes is about who catnap really is. Its stated that he was Theo before (who i think is referenced in previous tapes) and even before the hour of joy he was following the prototype. So yeah, most likely most monsters are mutated kids.

The cassette tape is about the ophanage in the playcare, not the Catnap toy. She even says that it's normal for the children to have nightmares. She wouldn't say that if it was about the toy. Catnap can control the gas system in the facility. So when she said Catnap she meant THE Catnap not the toy.

As I understand, it's not the children possessing the toys, but rather science was use to turn the adult employees into fleshy living toys, some of which ended up eating both the children and other employees.

the kids are being experimented on because of the nightmares they encountered with capnap smiling critters, it was mentioned in the first cutscene when introducing the toys which lead to the the kids to be in this place and cuz capnap became a servant for the prototype, the whole place was ruined when he killed all of the smiling critters who tried to oppose him, the little toys that u shoot were made for unknown reasons to kill u and the rest of the smiling critters like dogday thats basically how the lore generally goes as far as i know in case ure wondering what the lore is insym!

In comparison to what happened live to what we watch on KZfaq, we are very lucky! The game was a bit of a maze to navigate, glad you got there in the end.

Watching people try and solve puzzles blind makes me appreciate the games that have really good ones. It's a delicate balance of making something challenging but, solvable. Keep in mind too, trying to entertain chat doesn't help solve them but, I get the frustration.

I personally despise things like UI objective markers in most games I play (especially horror games), but I get that not having that feature makes streamers lives harder. Not throwing shade at streamers or anything -I can easily waste 5 minutes walking around aimlessly feeling stupid no problem!

there was a comment i read on a different youtuber’s video, and i’ve been thinking about it whenever i watch someone play chapter 3 “the game doesn’t feel like a horror game with puzzle elements, it feels like a puzzle game with horror elements.” and honestly its quite true, in the 2 previous chapters there was some ammount of horror with the chase scenes, but chapter 3 doesn’t do this at all.

The PT recreation is my favorite part about this chapter honestly, It's such a nice love letter to such a horror staple while still being used as a tool to push poppy playtime stuff forward. Also the only part of the chapter that allows itself to be that creepy, No tools, No puzzle just you and whatever's in the halls waiting to kill you.

While the change in quality is nice, it is kind of disappointing to see certain scenarios straight up lifted from other games like Bioshock and PT, unless it somehow ties to the theme.

Though I’d put in my take on this game (mostly ch 3 but I have things to say about it all) First, I think this chapter didn’t have good game design. Like you pointed out multiple times, it was very confusing to figure out where you were supposed to go or what you were supposed to do. Something I’ve had complaints about the entire time is that I don’t think any of these chapters are really “scary”. They have sections where they try to be, but the lack of commitment makes it fall a little flat in my opinion. I also think that introducing so many characters was not the right decision. Ollie, for example, feels really pointless and like their role could’ve been done by Poppy or Kissy, since they are already established. Adding another character just feels convoluted. Speaking of convoluted, the story doesn’t really make sense. All I’ve really gotten out of it is that they’re copying a lot of FNAF. While that by itself isn’t that big of a deal, it just feels like they aren’t adding their own spin on it. Overall, I think the game is alright. People think it’s fun and at the end of the day, that’s the most important part. It seems incredibly buggy and I think they would’ve benefitted from spending a little more time to fix those before release, but I think I understand why they didn’t. I don’t like the story, but maybe they’ll be able to pull it all together in the end. TLDR; the game is alright. I don’t like it, but if it’s fun to play then that’s cool 👍
