I feel so bad for catnap, evil or not he was a child who just wanted freedom and ended up viewing the prototype as a god since it was trying to help him escape and technically saved his life. Even though he was turn into a monster. I actually did almost cry during that scene since I was honestly hopeful that the prototype was going to save him, but I honestly should've expected it as well. Theres only a few games where you the bad guy or whatever is saved

I have theories that cat nap accepted his death or didn’t want Theo to suffer last time with the shock and accepted his death to end it or accepted his death bc he was killing toys bc the prototype wanted to help the toys what do u think and there’s a tape where u can hear the prototypes voice in chapter 3 if you want them to react to that

A theory os that the prototype didnt kill catnap cuz he was useless now that player defeated him but to put him out of hes missery being a toy and mindlessly worshipping the prototype And another is that theo was so obsessed with the prototype to the point of killing all the other smile creatures (or whatever you call it) etc that the prototype wanted to end the cycle of him being like that and ending hes missery

Bro, after seeing the tape "hour of joy" I started to not feel sorry for the toys because even though they killed the employees who did this to them, they also killed children, families and visitors who had nothing to do with playtime and This is something that Poppy herself says and if you pay attention to the video you will realize that catnap actually killed children at daycare. So it was a very deserved death, plus he gave himself up so pity is something I don't feel. and there's also the fact that he killed the smiling critters and also what he and those little ones did to dogday, which for me is a toy that I feel sorry for.
