Hey y'all! Welcome to the farm! We decided to go ahead with the purchase of the mini excavator. When Hubby gets it home, he gives it a little test go around the pond. We know Poppy would be proud to see the pond being reclaimed to its glory days.

Wow! Nice Tractor! Woot-woot! That will be so helpful o you guys (hubby)..unless you can maneuver that thing. I couldn't, but maybe you? I wouldn't be surprised!

Sooo...when you dig in the pond along the edges, you just pile up the sludge (lack of a better word?) along the edge of pond? Idk...I can't explain my thoughts..? What do you do with all that sludge? Hubby handles that tractor great! I knew he would. You guys have lots of water if needed

@cbass2755 I guess that was a little confusing to watch 😂 Hubby will be building the islands back up and making them a little bigger. All that sludge has to dry out, but I think he was mostly just testing it out yesterday. You know how it is when you get a new toy - you can't wait to play with it! 😂 Lots of water and fish! Nana and Poppy sure knew what they were doing to help us prepare and become more self-sufficient.
