3 жыл бұрынAlmeria is a port city on the Mediterranean coast of southern Spain - one of the sunniest places in Europe with sunshine all year around.
On another Almeria walk we explored the city center ( • Walking in ALMERIA / S... ). Fewer tourists visit Almeria which gives it a relaxed atmosphere. This time we walk from the sea towards the city and finally up the the Alcazaba.
The Alcazaba of Almería is a 10th-century Moorish fortress overlooking the city. It is closed on that evening yet we get to view Almeria from up there before we end this walking tour.

المرية: أحد أهم موانئ الأندلس في القرن الرابع الهجري، أمر ببنائها الخليفة الأموي العظيم عبدالرحمن الناصر لدين الله (عبدالرحمن الثالث)، وجاء اسمها من وظيفتها؛ إذ كانت تُتخذ مرأى ومرصدًا (برج مراقبة) بعد أن شيدت بها القصبة، وهي قلعة حربية منيعة كانت تعرف بقلعة خيران.
