I totally agree about trying to “make a perfume work”. I need to love a perfume as a stand alone. It’s like when you try on shoes and they don’t fit quite right and the salesperson is telling you , you can add shoe pads stretch the toe box, etc….it’s a no for me🤣🤣🤣 I don’t have time for that!🤣🤣🤣

I've never like any Chanel fragrance. I was gifted a mini set of all of them that are available and thought they all smelled terrible and out dated and something my grandmother would have worn in the 50's and 60's. But you're right about flankers they are constantly making them better. I'm currently deciding on what I want to haul for spring and summer fragrances. It's hard to decide

🤣🤣😂😂😂 they def smell outdated. Especially that no5 and coco🤢 I haven't wrapped my mind around spring yet as we are preparing for a deep freeze and snow storm lol.

@@xaiyu4104Have you tried Allure? I think it's one of the only Chanel perfumes that doesn't have that typical Chanel smell. No aldehydes and "grandma" sort of smell. It's still not one of my all time favourite perfumes, I actually like No5 tbh, but Allure is lovely.

😱 This is going to be so good! When I started expanding my fragrances, there were fragrances that I was in love with. In present day, my nose has changed. While, I still got love for them, once a few of them are done, they’re gone forever. Can’t wait to watch🤗.

Now I love Gabrielle Essence. It’s super pretty and it picks up perfectly in the air. I can live without it but I get lots of compliments on it when I’m not thinking about it. You’re so right…. it smells so very clean and pretty.

Great to see you back! Happy 2022. I totally agree, I am not a chemist and if I have to mix a fragrance to make it work, then it’s wasting my efforts. I have a few fragrances I wouldn’t repurchase including a few HOS- the Whispers line, Olympea Intense, Good Girl Gone Bad, and a few Jo Malones except for Mimosa and Cardamom. They are nice fragrances just not for me.

Roses in ice comes from Kilian’s wife favourite drink, Hendricks gin.Hendricks is the name of the gardener not the name of the family who owns the gin because the gardener was the one who came up with the idea of infusing the gin with roses petals and cucumbers.They even recommended that if you want to really enchancd their gin flavohr you have to add cucumber slices to their gin in your glass.When I read that I had to have the drink so I went and got some Hendricks gin, added cucumbers slices and let me tell ya, thats exactly how Roses on Ice smells.Then I got it.But yeah, the fragrance is not for me either,too cucumbery on my skin.

I love love videos like this. Thank you for this video! I like to take on fragrances once you had some real time with them to know if you would repurchase or not. Now I absolutely love layering but layering fragrances I absolutely love and know can stand alone. If I’m layering to “make it smell better” it’s gotta go! I will say Gabrielle Essence is a love for me. I can’t do any of the coco ones.

Love the video as always. I agree 100% with the Roses on ice. I get the exact same smell cucumbers. I would never repurchase it. I have a what was I thinking moment with that one😬. I love Si and Alien however the flankers for Si get more wear from me.

I agree with you about Holidays, Dior Addict and TF Black Orchid (masculine to me). I will be repurchasing that those either. Dior Addict has a golden girl sexy vibe to me. You are on point with this list because I totally agree. It's so many fragrances that are better. But I love CoCo Mademoiselle edp and the Intense version.

Thank you for this very informative and entertaining video. Im interested in trying samples of the TT and HOS fragrances. I agree with you about Si. The intense version is so much better than the original. And I co-sign everything you said about Roses on Ice. It smells like I spilled a shot glass of gin all over myself. I have no idea how they got cucumber to be so strong and long lasting but it is relentless!

First I wanted to thank you for changing the perfume and laying game for me last year. I really appreciate you. My laying is on another level, thank you! Now about the video. I agree about the coco mademoiselle. I won’t buy it again. The coco mademoiselle intense is where it’s at! Also a perfume that I won’t buy again is IDOLE by Lancôme. I like it, However I love the IDOLE Acura ( intense) better! It’s more powerful and I love it!

Hey Aisha, I many of the fragrances that you have on your list, I wouldn't repurchase as well. I gave Alien away, I haven't sprayed L'Interdit or Gabrielle Essence in a while . I was thinking about purchasing Mancera Holidays and Roses on Ice, but now I think I will pass. Thanks for the video. 🌹🌹

Just trying to catch up on missed videos😱😱. I’ve only repurchased Alien Essence Absolue 3 times and that’s it😍😍. I’ve been introduced to a wide range of fragrance houses so repurchasing for me is a no go🤩😍👌. The fact that we don’t have a lot of these houses over here🇿🇦🇿🇦 makes me not even think about repurchasing. Great video overall👌👌. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰.

Hey Ai_theGreat! I would not repurchase D&G Pour Femme, MONTALE Sensual Instinct, and 2 middle eastern fragrances that are hidden away in my drawer. Wait a minute, add Al Haramain to that list too. I usually like MONTALE and Mancera, but Sensual Instinct was a bust! Prada LaFemme is nice but I probably would not repurchase that one either. Happy New Year and thanks for sharing!

Used to practically shower myself in Intense Cafe, now cannot stand the site of it.🤣🤣🤣 Turns out a fragrance hangover is a thing. 🤣🤣🤣 Btw, I swapped my Black Orchid for TT Maremma-similar vibe but softer and more wearable.😘🙌

It’s a pretty, sexy scent in a really ugly bottle.🤣 Not a fan of their bland, rectangular boxes. But the juice inside is Orchid but better.

Hey girl hey! I am a new subscriber and I have been absolutely loving your videos and your personality is everything! When you mentioned the Kayali Fragrance, I literally looked like 😳😳 because I’m literally wearing it as I type! Lol I literally just got it in the mail a day or so ago, but I did go to Sephora a few times to try it on my skin to see how I would like it. I absolutely love it but I like it a lot more once it settles. My boyfriend smelled it out of the nozzle and he did not like it. I told him he would have to smell it on me when it settles because I feel like when you smell it out of the bottle or when you first spray it, you get that similar tobacco scent that I smell in Jazz Club. I am with you though when it comes to layering and Mixing and matching sense. I don’t want to have to buy two Fragrances for the sole purpose of mixing them together.

I would have never bought any of these in the first place. Since I have a limited perfume budget I have learned to test test test to make sure I absolutely LOVE the perfume. So I understand that you as a youtube reviewer test and buy way more than I do (so I am not criticizing) as that's your job. I didn't care for any of these, so I guess I have good taste. To be honest, there were a few on your list I hadn't tried. I do love your insight on fragrances even though I can't buy as much as I'd like. Keep on reviewing!! Loved this video , I definitely agree with your comments on Flowerbomb midnight. I was expecting a more richer version of the original Flowerbomb but I could hardly smell the scent after an hour or so on my skin. I have Flowerbomb nectar and its gorgeous. I really wish they had not discontinued Flowerbomb extreme , it was the perfect intense version and just beautiful. I hope they bring it back one day 🙏

Happy New Year Aisha. I don't have any of these and never smelled any of them besides Coco M. I do have the Intense version of Coco M. I have the 1oz. I never reach for it because I started buying so many more interesting fragrances at least to my nose more interesting. I will use it up though as it is still a compliment getter. I rarely get compliments on my niche but I really don't care cuz I love them. BUT if I spray Flowerbomb Nectar or Tresor la nuit here come the compliments!!!!! 😃 😃

This was a great video! I like your honesty! I mean for real, fragrances are expensive! and if you know ah I can live without it then it’s like next! I don’t want to keep something in my collection that’s just ok! I want to say I absolutely love this fragrance! Then there’s ones I say I can’t live without it! I understand why many are not fans of Narciso, pure musc but for me pure musc is my favorite scent to layer other niche Or designer perfumes with..I will always have in my collection for this reason..it just adds something to other perfumes, especially very floral or sweet fragrances. I find it balances it out...I pray they never discontinue that fragrance

Hi I have found that Chanel Gabrielle essence is PERFECT with the new edp chanel eau fraiche. I was about to return the essence when I thought to try it with my eau fraiche edp and it really elevates my experience I live on an island and the combination is amazin'. I also probably won't repurchase essence but i will enjoy what's left.

Over the past few months because I’ve been over at the few scents that I have (I don’t have too many), I’ve purchased six new ones- Calvin Klein Euphoria Intense (it gives me a super sexy chocolate raspberry vibes but not at all foody), Burberry Her, Gucci Flora Gorgeous Gardenia, Kayali Amber 23, the travel size of Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy and YSL Libre Intense. Of the new ones that I bought, I won’t be repurchasing Burberry her or Gucci floral gorgeous gardenia. Although I like them, I think I just prefer heavier scents and they are a bit too light for my liking. I also won’t be purchasing Angel by Mugler because when I first smelled it on someone, she smelled absolutely amazing! When I bought it and tried it on myself, there’s something about that initial spray that I just like a lot. Thank you so much for your amazing content!

Your right sis !some of your choices are on my list as well the Dior Addict is great but something just misses the mark with me also my aunt wears it and so its a scent memory . Coco mademoiselle a co worker wore the hell out of it years ago so i refuse to wear . TF i brought the 1st week it came out and im just tired of it i would get velvet orchid instead .You look great by the way sis .

I bought the small bottle of Kayali 23 and wish I had that big bottle. I love how it smells on me. It definitely is an acquired scent though. I’m actually trying not to spray too much because I don’t want to use it up. Thanks for this video. Btw I’m on the East Coast too and this cold weather girl is so disrespectful

You're so right about Prada la femme. At first sniff I seemed to like it. But when I wore it at home it turned awful on my skin and after using it a few more times in hoping I may like it but sadly I totally regret buying it as it was expensive.

For most of my life I’ve only had about 12 fragrances, so after getting through each bottle with such a small collection I get so tired of the scents I own and end up rarely repurchasing the same perfumes because all I crave is something new and different. I’ve only ever repurchased one or two and after they’re done I won’t be buying a third bottle. Not because they’re bad but because I’ve exhausted my poor nose with the same thing so much 😂.

I had somewhat of the same feelings towards Dior Addict until I tried combining it with other fragrances. Mixing Dior Addict with Nishane Ani or Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme…..beautiful.

I have to say that I always comment on HOS love is in the air... absolutely my favorite current scent from all houses so far and in 20220 I was able to sample quite a bit . To me and perhaps it's scent memory I can't place , but this is breathing LOVE in to me 💕💕I totally understand how subjective scent is , I get it lol but I wore Love is in the Air to work and I have male colleagues that I would ask their opinion...... this fragrance caused an instant stand at attention, ready to Go reaction 😍, on me caused the sexiest of sexy response ! Have a beautiful day

Mind you I went to Saks in Raleigh, NC to pick up a few fragrances and the lady at the Parfums de Marly was trying to show me the Tiziana Torenzi selection; I said I didn’t know they carried and right away she said to me: do you watch Ai_The great on YT and I said YES! Flowerbomb Midnight is the total opposite for me lol. There’s a sharp spicy note that my nose picks up. I love it, and I think the og flowerbomb is the safer option.

I do love the essence and I think I ran through my share of coco mademoiselle.. I do however, work in a office so it's perfect for that.. it's in that Dylan Blue category.. but I recently just, just got the mademoiselle intense like literally 2 or 3 weeks ago and I'm like,,, yea .. I don't need both I will just get the intense and keep the noir.. and although essence is good it just has that something that makes me not to repurchase. Its strong and pleasant but not addictive..I find myself gravitating towards addictive scents.. they may not even smell like the best but have that keep smelling myself factor that I find intoxicating. Like how dolce and Gabbana Garden is.. not that great but addictive..... But that Rose prick tho... lol lol.. girl.. I had to date it exclusively for a week that lasted like two that left a dent that had me put it up because of the coint I did not have to rebuy it. My nose have grown from Tomny girl, pleasures and pink sugar to all these niche and out the box designer I can now appreciate. Mostly via your recommendations to be honest. Your nose knows..... Alien smelled like dirt in the heat but good in the cold but I fell in love with the goddess version. Which is also a solei blanc vibe as well..
